I had the pleasure of visiting Monaco with a tour group in April 2001. Two of the things I recall seeing were the crypt of Princess Grace and the casino. We also visited Nice and Cannes.
Even if I were a rich man I would not live in this place because the roads are insanely narrow, crooked and confusing. The only city in the entire Europe which has EXCELLENT or PERFECT road network and thoroughfares is MADRID.

I've been to Monaco in 2019. It's hard to believe it's only 2.2 km2. It seems ten times larger than this.
It’s up down a lot. So the hill you have to climb probably is about 10km road.
