Having played a ton of RPGs in my life now this STILL is one of the best final boss themes I have ever heard. It might just be nostalgia, having played this as a 9 your old, but this theme just screams "final boss"
Honestly yeah. There are too many final bosses that are like “you can do it! It’s tough but we know you’ll win!” or “this decides the fate of the world, now go out there and fight!” We need more songs like Cackletta’s Soul or Shadow Queen that are more like “you will die” and that’s it, not much more needed.

I bet you guys in Japan are excited to get the 3rd game and we here in the u.s have to either wait a year or it might not come here at all ;-; EDIT: Both the Regular and Professional versions of the 3rd game have been translated. 13 year old me who originally commented this would be ecstatic lol

hahahaha, yeah... I had quite the same experience. A friend of mine and me did a challenge with this game. Only slimes were allowed in your party, each party member must have a different color and no replacements... It was horrible :D But my last monster killed him after a loooong fight with less than 50 HP and no MP °-°
@@angrypicture6155 I don't know if the same slime for breeding was allowed in his challenge, but if so you can just create a slime XY which is basically op enough to beat Rigor Mortex with decent teammates.
I'm pretty sure i clutched canzer in rank s with an abyssaur that he couldnt kill because he had miraculous mallet lol also that is a good challenge ill try it
I was about to fight Rigor Mortex so I saved like anyone would and turned off. Came back next morning to find out that my save file was corrupted so I lost all my data. o.0 I was pissed off!

My Boreal Serpent, Leviathan, my Teeny Sanguini, Countess, and my Heyedra, Heyedra (I couldn't think of a better name), all had quite a fight with Malevolynx.
+Theinsanegamer10 I took him out with a Slime Stack...who knew stacking a ton of HP so it's HP is like 800 would help so much...really though, it took forever. At some point halfway through the fight he actually ran out of MP LOL.
So interesting to see people, 11 years later, still come back to this music

ドラクエ本編でこの曲が流れたら違和感ありそうだけど、DQMシリーズだと全然違和感ないよね。

やっぱ、モンスターズのラスボス戦は この曲に限る！異論はない。
I beat him in 60 turns with a level 22 king bubble slime. It wasn't easy, but I did it. It helps that I built it into a tank.
I used a single metal slime with defense and agility boost 3 maxed and slimer maxed
+Sam Classen it took about 300+ turns to win but I did
