FIA: Ignores all that, opts for a night race to be replaced in time by a Tilke insomnia cure.
Awez all African F1 fans unite here
I’m from South Africa btw
Same
same
Could tell from the “Awez” my bru 😂👊🏼
Yebo yes 🇿🇦
im moroccan but we still unite, bru
As a South African, I am so glad you made this video. We love f1 here!
THANK YOU! FINALLY! Some respect and thoughts on our country❤️ Much love Josh!🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦
A street race here in Capetown would be absolutely insane. It'll be really great for receiving the tourism industry here after the damages caused by the pandemic - and also it will be an absolutely insane track! I used to drive around the city imagining which streets would be used if they were to make a street circuit... Just wishful thinking for now :(
I was there for the Red Bull event last year. Really loved having the car back in my home country. Absolutely brilliant vid and song by Sim ❤
And I don't know why but man I have tears in my eyes maybe because I am a proud South African and an absolute lover of F1
Imo this is the best song sim dane has put out so far, and that's a high bar
Well done and a special well done to Sim Dane as well. Another great job by both of you!
You guys have done an amazing job, we need a GP in South Africa, its a shame the "World" Championship doesn't have at least one race in the birthplace of humanity
As a South African I couldn’t agree more and this video was the most touching thing I’ve felt so touched in forever I’m only 13 if a race could be here in Johannesburg it could give me a massive chance to be the first black South African to have a real chance at that grid while being able to compete against the talent of course so thank you guys so much I’ve never felt this hopeful before
Limo Lekgoro same here see you soon I'll be gunning for it too good luck
Rudi Schussler good luck to you too
Africa really needs recognition
Recognition for what?
Major props to James Hunt, for his willingness to speak out against Apartheid. Say what you will about his swearing, his playboy-lifestyle or whatever else you want about him, but he was brutally honest, and never afraid to speak his mind.
May that magnificent bastard rest in peace.
Certainly one of, if not the best TH-cam Collaborations going. Great video.
This video is absolutely outstanding. Well done Josh!
Before I watch I would choose kylami a great track for GTE and we have raced there before
I absolutely LOVE the song! Fricking fantastic mate. Well written and performed - that's got to go viral! Come on folks, let's share this!
Kyalami is definitely worthwhile, IMHO. Stuff Saudi (if F1 boycotted SA because of their human rights abuses, then Saudi and Russia, at the very least, should absolutely be forgotten). If the FIA are so damned desperate to get 23 races (and why? 21 is more than enough for everyone involved in the teams, I'm sure), then help Kyalami and Morocco get up to snuff. And if the FIA/F1 are genuinely interested in racing for everyone, encouraging people from all backgrounds to get involved in motorsport, then going to Africa is an absolute MUST. Not just a nice pipe dream. Liberty earn more than enough by hiding so much stuff behind pay walls.

Let’s not forget that the greatest F1 engineer Gordon Murray was South African 🇿🇦 That’s reason enough for me
I’m an Aussie and lived in South Africa for nearly three years playing cricket and hockey. Also club raced with oaks in GT class around Jo burg The Cape and Durbin
What you guys have put together made me so proud and she’d a tear. If it can happen we’re on a plane and coming over.
#africagp get on board. Nige n Debs Down Under ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Brilliant. Formula 1 MUST go to Africa. Loved the penguin at the end 🙂.
Man I was already convinced about the African GP, but that song, I’m 100000% convinced now.
Imagine a race in front of the pyramids lol. Would be pretty awesome
I don’t like this idea necessarily for the views, but the tyre degradation making it a like 4 stop strategy race would be great hahaha
The likelyhood would be that if F1 ever did return to Africa it would be south Africa. I dont even know of a current race circuit in the North.
That would be pretty sick
And way to hot
@@OoVECTORMANoO Formula E has a race in Morocco
On Rosberg's channel, he asked where should we race that we currently don't. I commented that Africa was missing! I stated Morocco and Sth Africa were options with Sth Africa being the better option of the 2. I would absolutely love to see it happen. None of the drivers like China, Russia or the Abu Dumbi circuit. We can thank Eccelstone for F1's current calendar which lacks European classics and venues which benefited him above all others. And the song on this video was great!!!
It makes me seriously happy as a south african to see people outside of SA pushing for a gp too! Thanks for making this video!
Cape Town born and raised and legit brought a tear to my eyes #AfricanGP
What I learned from this video:
The "Am I joke to you?" meme is from South Africa. I mean WTF lmao
Yeah, it's from our SABC Tv channel
Its from a Soapie called Generations
I'm south African and I didn't know either
@@neomukhuba761 You don't know SABC 1?
@@StreetWarrior24 lol he definitely ain't South African
I love F1 and a South African and ive been singing the same song for f1 to come back 💔
Brilliant work with the song. Thought I was listening to the original for a second
I'm a subscriber FROM South Africa ! 🇿🇦 What a video mate. Absolutely loved it and wish for F1 to return.
This is a serious comment
I'm really glad to be alive to see this type of content
God Damm much respect

Well damn, 2/3 of the country is missing lol
LOL
The other two islands tend to think themselves special little shits anyway 🤣🤣🤣
@@MrBlazemaster525 And the spoken island also has other people thinking they're elite. Every island has dickheads, idk why
Half of southeast asia is gone on the map lmao
@@holddatproductions4002 That spoken island was the only one to fight off the Spaniards lol so yeah they earned bragging rights
Proudly south African ❤️🇿🇦
That sing needs to go to number 1 in the charts! So TRUE and so GOOD! Thanks mate!
As a South African I definitely want to be able to see a race in my home nation and I have seen the track been getting updates for FIA standards
Thats actually true, "to make a real world championship, we need the continent"
Then we also need New Zealand and Antarctica.
KiwiRing
@@Ballin4Vengeance new zealand is not a continent
@@jelmero3090 We need a KiwiRing nevertheless
@@Ballin4Vengeance cant argue with that mate
Bruh, I live right next to the Kylami track
Ngl, Sim Dane's cameo is much more of a bigger surprise to me than when Nick Fury appeared on the first Iron Man movie.
epic video josh... that colab needs to go viral... come on people... lets share this everywhere online!!!
This is one of your greatest videos! It deserves to be seen more. All of Africa should be considered, and I hope we get a race there soon.
Josh time, brilliant! 👍👏👍👏
YES PLEASE! We as south africans would really love it to come back🥺
Just curious how interested are the black population over there interested in motorracing cause still seems like most south africans involved in motorsports are mostly white?
@@acegarcia3719 i don't think the black people are that interested tbf but there are definitely some that enjoy it and would love to see it return
@@acegarcia3719 but by looking at the comments i can see a bunch of black people that feel the same way that i do
@@armandrossouw65 Interesting to know, I mean when you have places like Saudi Arabia and Baku getting dates simply due to money and not fan interest, if South Africa has an interested populous that'll generate a good F1 crowd regardless of race then I think it would be a solid addition to calendar.
@@acegarcia3719 yeah but the problem is our economy is shitty so we don't have money to fix the kyalami track i don't think. But yes we have a big group of fans that love the sport, and we go to the kyalami track for all the other races and the attendance is always good, so if F1 comes here it would be awesome. And abu dhabi is a shit track which no one enjoys😂
I swear to God, this was f*cking beautiful, I've watched it for a couple of times
I don't only think this is the best video you made, it's clearly the most important.
I hate that this already has more dislikes than your andrea moda video.....
As a South African, I'm really hoping and feeling quite optimistic that Formula 1 will finally happen at Kyalami
I mean we hosted the Kyalami 9 Hours successfully last year, WRC is hosting a round in Kenya next year and the fact that we were supposed to host a WEC race next year (hopefully in 2022), I think we are on the FIA's radar in terms of hosting an F1 race and I can't wait for that day to happen
