What I love about the Spurs is not only do they always make the playoffs and contend for a title year in year out,but they do it in a humble, selfless, classy way, so much so that most NBA fans and pundits have written them off to the lottery since 2006 LOL!!!
@nobodysperfect06 And besides having that "Law of Attraction", they also have an Owner in Dr. Jerry Buss, who besides being a Professional Poker Player, also is never afraid to "Ante up" when it is necessary for another Championship Drive. But the main reason why the Lakers have been successful during Dr. Buss' reign has been Jerry West, the man who have kept the Lakers "The Cream of the Crop" in the NBA. After building the 1980's Dynasty of the Showtime Lakers, then the Dynasty of 2000-02.
4 Championships, 4 Conference Titles, 18 Division Titles... Spurs are so involved in the community you wouldn't understand if you weren't from San Antonio!
@nobodysperfect06 I highly think that everyone here in Los Angeles is starting to feel the same way you do(Including myself) about the Clippers. The Clippers should have never left San Diego!
When the Mavs were done in the first round, all eyes were on the Spurs. Good vid even though i'm a Bulls fan:) I wouldn't be suprized if the Spurs repeated with the Suns not being able to handle Duncan and the Mavs choking away every post season.
I love the Dynasty team San Antonio Spurs! I wil add this vid and subsceibe.5 stars.I'm glad I remember all of these championships!WE are the champions of the world!Go Spurs Go! Wizkid and fellow Spurs fan!:*)
Y'all can't call the Spurs boring, because they played smart basketball and good basketball. If u don't like watching the Spurs then you are no fan of good basketball.
The Lakers vs Spurs debate is horrible. Can we just agree that both teams are the best 2 teams of the past decade, since 1999, they have combined for 9 titles, they both are dynasties.
agreed, the Lakers have been in the NBA Finals 31 times in their entire existence, thats half their existence, not even the Yankees have been in the World Series that many times, the Lakers are the greatest professional sports team of all-time!!!!
the Lakers are the greatest, best team in NBA history, even ESPN ranks them number 1, eventhough they trail the Celtics by only 1 ring, the Lakers have been a lot more consistent throughout their entire history, they have only missed the playoffs only 5 times in their entire history, have the highest winning percentage, have more regular season wins, playoff wins, playoff series wins than any other NBA team, the Lakers have never gone through a stretch without a Superstar player
A word to the City of San Antonio: Choke! While the Spurs are riding a 6 game losing streak, the Lakers STILL remain the hottest team in the NBA now going 16-1 since the All-Star Break and now climbed to 1 1/2 games behind the Spurs for the Top Seed in the West. We really don't give a shit if we don't have the Top Seed. The Lakers will still kick ass over the Lame-Ass Spurs whether or not we get the Home Court Advantage!
No matter what any moron/jackass (take ur pick) says...spurs are the best professional team..they have the highest winning percentage of all the professional sport teams...and that just shows it all...3 championships in 5 years and 4 in 9years...thats freakin amazing!! LOVE THE SPURS...all they need right now is a repeat..and they will be a DYNASTY.if they are not already!! love the video man! GO TIMMY, TONY, MANU, AND THE REST OF THE SPURS!! Hope they win another one this year!!
It's all about the Los Angeles Lakers in the NBA! 15 World Championships, the greatest team in the NBA! We are so good that everyone wants a piece of us wherever we go whether or not we are the World Champions. And that tells you something about us. We are sooooo hated everywhere we go, we are like the New York Yankees. But you know what? Who gives a shit! We don't fuck around! The Banners you see hanging inside the Staples Center are not there for show, it's for hard work!
I loved how I have personally started redecorating this San Antonio Spurs Video about "A Dynasty is Born" with all of my Lakers talk. But you know what? Who gives a shit. You guys want to talk about a dynasty? Talk about the Los Angeles Lakers, THE REAL DYNASTY! The team that just went Back-to-Back.
it's not so much the regular-season that counts, it's the post-season, the NBA's best team is always determined in the post-season, and plus, the Lakers really never rebuild, they just reload, they have never gone through a stretch without a Superstar player in their entire history, they just stumble onto them, and amazingly, the Lakers have missed the playoffs only 5 times in their 62 to 63 year history, and have been in the NBA Finals amazingly 31 times, for like half their existence.
I know were down 3-1, and we have who we have. I live in San An tonio, and at least I had the balls to wear my Ginobili Jersey to AAArena in Dallas for game 4 and walk out of there amongst Mavs fans who acted like they won the title already...Trust me, throwing a premature title cheer for my team is nothing compared to planning a parade for going up 2-0 on Miami in 06'. I have a lot to be proud of, so why would I ever doubt my team? Im pissed because knowwe are good enough as is to beat Dallas.
@nobodysperfect06 Yes, I do credit Mitch Kupchak for building the current Back-to-Back World Champions. I would not want to call this version of the Lakers "A Dynasty", not yet. The same Mitch Kupchak that Lakers fans everywhere(Including myself) wanted to be exiled back in 2005. The Lakers have that something special that no other NBA Team, not even the Celtics, have.
theres no doubt the Lakers will always be better than the Spurs, but ESPN ranks the Spurs as the number 3 best NBA franchise of all-time, first obviously being the Lakers, second being the Celtics
@nobodysperfect06 Yes, back in a time when the Celtics had The Greatest Player in the NBA in Bill Russell, and when the Celtics did win their 11 World Championships from 1957 to 1969, and 8 in a row from 1959 to 1966. And since then, yes, the Celtics have won 6 Championships to our 11. And also now that we have won "Number 16", I have to say that since 1986(When the Celtics won "Number 16"), the Lakers have won 7 World Championships to the Celtics 1.
@nobodysperfect06 In 2013, there will be NFL Football in Los Angeles after a new stadium will be built in the City of Industry off of Grand Avenue not too far off Diamond Bar. About 25 miles east of Los Angeles. And after it has been built, there will be 7 NFL Teams interested in coming to Los Angeles to play Football.
ESPN ranks the Lakers number 1, the Celtics number 2, the Spurs number 3, and the Bulls number 4. Also most of the Celtics championships came during the late 50's throughout most of the 60's, when there was less competition, only 8 NBA teams back then, the Modern NBA which began in the 1970's, since then, the Celtics have won only 6 Championships(1974, 1976, 1981, 1984, 1986, 2008) the Lakers have won 11(1972, 1980, 1982, 1985, 1987, 1988, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2009, 2010)
@nobodysperfect06 I hear you. I have been living in Los Angeles since 1967 and I have always loved the Lakers. Probably the reason why the Lakers have always been successful in their storied past is their mystique. And even back in 1972 when the Lakers won their 1st Championship in Los Angeles, everyone wants bring their "A Game" when playing the Lakers. Basically, it is their reputation that becomes their "Law of Attraction" to get some of the NBA's Best Players.
@Jiltedin2007 Perhaps the Spurs could reload. They have before. After David Robinson left, the Spurs had a bit of reloading to do, and they did it, and 2 seasons later, the Spurs won their 3rd NBA championship.
don't get me wrong, I love the Lakers since I live in Southern California, I just wish other Southern California Sports teams were consistently as great year in and year out like the Lakers are, the Lakers pretty much never rebuild, they just reload all the time, and no, I can never see the Spurs reloading like the Lakers have.
ya thats what im saying it waz all set up for the lakers to win that series so the nba finals would have good t.v ratings. plus the celtics and the lakers are big market teams like GeniusFOC. GO Surs Go! this year we r taking it all the way 4 sure!!
it's just very dissapointing, very unfair on how the second largest city in America does not have an NFL team, out of all the Major Professional Sports Leagues in North America, the NFL, MLB, NBA, and NHL, the NFL is without a doubt the most popular and most known, it has the highest ratings, the Super Bowl is the biggest media sporting event, it owns the NBA Finals, World Series, and Stanley Cup Finals, and it's just not right how there is no NFL team in L.A.
this year, this season is the 16th season without an NFL team in Los Angeles, and the NFL and L.A. have been going in circles ever since, they have been saying that for years that the NFL will return to Los Angeles, I remembered Roger Goodell saying that L.A. will be an NFL city again before the end of the Decade, well, look at L.A. now? L.A. was supposed to get the expansion team in 2002, but lost to Houston, the year Houston got the Texans.
All these Spurs haters are pathetic, your commenting on a Spurs tribute and your obviously not Spurs fans, if you think the Spurs are'nt a dynasty then thats your opinion, but the fact is they are, they were always in contention to win and if it was your team you would be happy for that success, dont hate on the Spurs, 4 world titles says there a dynasty, repeat or not.
@nobodysperfect06 That is a given! And did you know? Since 1986(When the Celtics won "Number 16") The Lakers have won 7 Championships to the Celtics 1.
what I find very stupid is that, since everyone claims that L.A. will not support an NFL team, then yet why to the Clippers still exist? the Clippers have been pathetic throughout their entire history, so it's like, how come Los Angeles will tolerate a losing franchise like the Clippers, but not an NFL team? In my opinion the Clippers should not be an NBA team anymore, they should be an NBA-Development league team or something
What is it that determines that success of the Lakers all the time, and with Professional Sports teams as well? Is it the Owner, General Manager, or just luck? how do the Lakers always stumble onto Superstar talent and great Coaches all the time?
@DDavidDVD No, I have to disagree with you. What led to the Lakers embarassment at the Hands of the Piston in the 2004 NBA Finals was the Lack of Continuity the Lakers had as a whole. Shaq demanded to be traded after the season, and he went to Miami. Phil Jackson stepped down as Head Coach, and Kobe was deciding whether to play for the Lakers or the Cippers. And when the day came for Kobe to decide to play for ther Lakers, Derek Fisher signed with Golden State.
agreed, but don't you wish there was an NFL team in Los Angeles? I seriously wish there was, I'm not really into College Football, so I kinda get bored with UCLA and USC
Well at least the Spurs made the championship round not like other teams getting swept away in the first round and some fans thinking Kaman is their saviour!!!!! Lol losing Howard must really hurt!!!
lol i didn't even realize you put without kobe...4th quarter Parker,Leonard,Ginobili,Splitter,Green werent in the game it was Tim Duncan and the Spurs bench vs Lakers top 4 and Kobe's replacement
@nobodysperfect06 It's just too bad for the Celtics that Bill Russell isn't playing anymore. Maybe the Celtics need to win another 11 World Championships in a 13 year period. BUT IT'S NEVER HAPPENING AGAIN! Obviously the Lakers are The Greatest Team in the NBA! who's been to the Finals the most? I have been a Lakers Fan since I was a Little Boy, and I only remember 4 years that the Lakers did not make the Playoffs(1975, 1976, 1994 and 2005). The strength of the Lakers, was a Big Man.
@nobodysperfect06 Because the Clippers are not a Los Angeles Team! They are Houseguests on a very extended stay here in Los Angeles. If I had my way, I would sent the Clippers back to San Diego. In fact, at a Clippers game(I kid you not!), someone was outside the Staples Center with a Petition to send the Clippers back to San Diego, and people were signing that petition. But when the Clippers Brass got wind of it, they immediately confiscated it.
@AlucardHiryu16 True, the Lakers have been around a lot longer in the NBA than the San Antonio Spurs. Being the case, let's just go back to 1977 which happens to be San Antonio's First Season in the NBA. As we all know that the Spurs won a total of 4 World Championships from 1977 to the present. Well in that same time frame, the Lakers have won a Grand Total of 10 World Championships! There is no hiding the fact that the Lakers are superior.
Dynasty, Yeah right! Learn to repeat before you can call yourselves "A Dynasty". Let's see, shall we? San Antonio's Championship Years: 1999, 2003, 2005, and 2007. Basically, what I'm saying here is that THE SPURS HAVE NEVER REPEATED! Dynasties to tend to repeat at least once, or twice. But who am I to say? The Lakers, on the other hand, have already repeated, and 3-peated. That's a team you can definately call "A Dynasty". AND WE'RE GOING BACK TO BACK IN 2010!
@nobodysperfect06 Exactly, and Dr. Jerry Buss was it! The Man who got Magic Johnson, and once Magic became a Part Owner of the Lakers, you knew that great players were going to come. But let us also not the General Manager who was even more responsible for the building of a Dynasty. That Man happens to be Jerry West, who worked his Butt off in making the Los Angeles Lakers "The Cream of the Crop" in the NBA. I bet you even today after retirement, Jerry West still has a hand in the Lakers.
@AlucardHiryu16 No, but the Lakers own the Spurs lifetime in Playoff Competition. The Lakers have taken 8 of the 11 Playoff Series they have had with the Spurs. The only 3 times the Spurs have defeated the Lakers in Playoff Competition was in 1995, 1999 and in 2003.
What I love about the Spurs is not only do they always make the playoffs and contend for a title year in year out,but they do it in a humble, selfless, classy way, so much so that most NBA fans and pundits have written them off to the lottery since 2006 LOL!!!
omg i love it!! makes me cry... :)
The most impressive franchise of any sport, EVER. A Great Dynasty .
4 Championships, 4 Conference Titles, 18 Division Titles... Spurs are so involved in the community you wouldn't understand if you weren't from San Antonio!
Spurs are the classiest team in the league. Laker fans like you prove exactly the type of franchise LA is.
@nobodysperfect06 I highly think that everyone here in Los Angeles is starting to feel the same way you do(Including myself) about the Clippers. The Clippers should have never left San Diego!
Good Video Strange music
One word for the Lakers and the city of Los Angeles: SWEEP!
Spurs are now down 3-1 to Memphis in the First Round. I'M LOVING IT!
Because Dynasties tend to repeat as Champions!
2012=Spurs Champion
and it all comes down to having the best Owner and General Manager in all of Professional Sports
spurs are da best
Go spurs GO!!
omg! did i saw Duncan with a smile on his face?! i must be day dreaming~
When the Mavs were done in the first round, all eyes were on the Spurs. Good vid even though i'm a Bulls fan:) I wouldn't be suprized if the Spurs repeated with the Suns not being able to handle Duncan and the Mavs choking away every post season.
thats what i say almost everyday!
THE LAKERS ARE THE TRUE DYNASTY!
Los Angeles Lakers Back-to-Back World Champions! A DYNASTY FOR ALL AGES!
The Lakers vs Spurs debate is horrible. Can we just agree that both teams are the best 2 teams of the past decade, since 1999, they have combined for 9 titles, they both are dynasties.

A word for the Spurs and the city of San Antonio: CHOKE
And the Lakers are the New York Yankees of the NBA to me!
Larry Birds Celtics never repeated and they considered a dynasty.
I now hear that Magic Johnson is interested in helping bringing the NFL back to Los Angeles
At least the Lakers didn't take a shit after having their 20 Game Winning Streak snapped!
Spurs works as a team. that is all.
No matter what any moron/jackass (take ur pick) says...spurs are the best professional team..they have the highest winning percentage of all the professional sport teams...and that just shows it all...3 championships in 5 years and 4 in 9years...thats freakin amazing!! 16 is always better than 4.
At least the Lakers didn't choke during "Garbage Time" in The 2013 Finals!
It's all about the Los Angeles Lakers in the NBA!
15 World Championships, the greatest team in the NBA! We are so good that everyone wants a piece of us wherever we go whether or not we are the World Champions. And that tells you something about us.

yes, the Spurs never won rings consecutively, they never repeated, sucks for them
it's not so much the regular-season that counts, it's the post-season, the NBA's best team is always determined in the post-season, and plus, the Lakers really never rebuild, they just reload, they have never gone through a stretch without a Superstar player in their entire history, they just stumble onto them, and amazingly, the Lakers have missed the playoffs only 5 times in their 62 to 63 year history, and have been in the NBA Finals amazingly 31 times, for like half their existence.
haters tend to repeat the same stuff nobody but themselves care about
@nobodysperfect06 Like I said, in 2013 when the New Stadium is built somewhere near Diamond Bar.
Oh, yes. The Celtics did rule the East back in the 80's.
San Antonio Spurs: A Dynasty Is Born. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?
Dynasty Teams are definitely not known to be choking to #8 Seed Teams!
@nobodysperfect06 Those in the Clippers Front Office.
And if the Lakers DO make the 8th Seed, and Your Spurs were to have the Best Record in the West, chances are, the Lakers would kick their asses!
Championship Tally 1977 - Present
Los Angeles Lakers 10
San Antonio Spurs 4

then what does this have to do with the lakers?
Spurs Fan? I feel so sorry for you!
of course you'd want a small market team like the Spurs in the Finals instead of the Lakers....eeerrrr like in 2008.
spurs are good lakers are good the end
normal people who shit i dont know how you could live without shitting
And who took a shit after a 20 Game Winning Streak?
well im not sure bout boston or la but i think they could win against denver for sure
what I find very stupid is that, since everyone claims that L.A. will not support an NFL team, then yet why to the Clippers still exist? the Clippers have been pathetic throughout their entire history, so it's like, how come Los Angeles will tolerate a losing franchise like the Clippers, but not an NFL team? I'ma disagree with you on the 90s Bulls. The Bulls played tough teams.
How is SA not a Dynasty? Name another team with more championships than us other than LA, Boston, or CHI..?
@DDavidDVD No, I have to disagree with you. What led to the Lakers embarassment at the Hands of the Piston in the 2004 NBA Finals was the Lack of Continuity the Lakers had as a whole. @ITSME1267 And where is Denver now? We'll have to wait for next year to see if your assumptions are correct.
Well at least the Spurs made the championship round not like other teams getting swept away in the first round and some fans thinking Kaman is their saviour!!!!! Lol losing Howard must really hurt!!!
how come it's so hard for haters to swallow that the SPURS ware always winning.. they just come up with excuses[i.e. playing dirty,]
what do you mean Clippers Brass?
Hey San Antonio, 16 to 4. What does that tell you?
lol i didn't even realize you put without kobe...4th quarter Parker,Leonard,Ginobili,Splitter,Green werent in the game it was Tim Duncan and the Spurs bench vs Lakers top 4 and Kobe's replacement
but 6 is better than 5... MJ > kobe
@madhazzer At least the Lakers never choked to a #8 Seed.
no dont get me wrong i know the lakers are good team i was seeing if you would get mad at the comment and repond and it worked :p.
looks like my plan to make you mad worked.

16 Championships, bitch!
@nobodysperfect06 Because the Clippers are not a Los Angeles Team! They are Houseguests on a very extended stay here in Los Angeles. If I had my way, I would sent the Clippers back to San Diego.
Don't say that spurs choke wen lakers did too okc lol
And did "MJ" ever play for the Spurs?
