I’ve seen other tutorials recommend cleaning/sanitizing the knife before clipping the geraniums. But if you’re worried about spreading disease from plant to plant, wouldn’t you have to sanitize between each plant? Maybe that’s a dumb question but… 🤷♀️
thanks for such a clear explanation, I need help on keeping then healthy they always die on me :( they rot and the main branch turn old looking. I will try your method, thanks.
What is a rutt??? Do you also say spun, instead of spoon? Or fud instead of food...??? Lastly, learning how to FOCUS while zooming in would revolutionize your vids.
Roy - for the sake of not spreading false information - Pelargoniums are commonly called Geraniums by 99.9% of all gardeners, garden centers, and growers. Thanks for your reply. www.rhs.org.uk/advice/profile?PID=338
Thank-you for this video! Just what I needed. Older video that I am happy is still available!
Thank you, it helps to know how to do it. It makes buying plants worth the money if you can just save some money at the same time.
Beautiful video Nice one I like this video
For anyone interested they are called Fertiss plugs by a company called Fertil
This is very informative. Does it need to be in the shade or sunny location during propagation? How often does need to be water? Thanks for sharing.

Hi, can't find the soil pods on your website
They are called Fertiss plugs don’t search for bag nothing comes up
just wanted to know the reason why you put them in the refrigerator overnight before planting them the following day? Thanks!
Alvin Jay Santos
I don't think there is a reason other than to keep them from wilting before they have a chance to plant them. I could be wrong.
Maybe to kill the bacterias...

Geraniums and pelargoniums come under same bracket because most people still would rather call pelargoniums geraniums, I say no more.
