I suggest you to watch more badminton matches in international tournaments. It's normal to have all-China finals or all-Indonesian final or all-"insert country name" finals. Down to the drawings on group, and 1 country can send max of 2 teams in each category. So if both teams advanced to finals, so be it. They have to play their best and not pretend to lose or they'll get DSQ.
