Thanks for the review , I own a few 602d and a UT4 , but for the last 2 years or so I have used mainly old Samsung phones which gives me about the same versatility control of this new controller . I used my 602 only to program locomotives or change settings .
Yes, I use my phone as well, especially when running 2-4 trains at a time. I use the Ut6d when switching. I need multiple units for ops sessions as many operators do not like phone throttles.
Thanks for the video. I have the 210 plus with 602d which works well, but there are times where a smaller throttle would be nice to have. I have been planning on getting a 6d, However I did not realize it had the toggle.
I have not seen one/ used one before, so I am not sure. I would like to think it would be a plus, but I don't know until I try one. Does the 6d have where you can press the dial like the 602 has where you can double click the dial and change direction?
Then the UR93 is an alternate to having a radio unit inside the DCS booster. Is this correct? Would certainly save money having to buy a complete booster with the radio installed. This I didn't know. Always a great video as always.

Somebody needs to come up with a physical control knob that plugs into the phone's USB-c port.

Will the UT6 turn on and off the track power? Earlier UT’s would not operate turnouts or turn on track power.
Yes. It does both. It's definitely a step up from the UT4.
What do you use to help with all the short circuits on the layout that effect the camand station
Use a power management system to protect the Command Station and divide the layout into power districts. Check out the digitrax pm74.

You are correct, none of the Digitrax boosters have radio built in.
