She is very nice.
Continue taking care of her and you will have her a very long time
I really love my 83. Every Datsun Z is unique at this point no two cars are the same. These cars are awesome!
They certainly are!
had 2 of these gems
This thing is absolutely pristine! Glad to know it will be enjoyed as intended. The power mirror actuating the wrong mirror is actually a wiring cost cutting measure! the RHD version of these cars had the same power mirror placement, which would have been the passenger side.
Good fun fact to know! Thanks Victor!
I have you beat, mine is under 50,000.
It's an 83 and slightly worse exterior condition but the interior is nearly perfect. Perfect dash as well. I wish mine didn't have T-tops, they don't leak but it's just another thing to go wrong. Once I get my struts replaced and get the car to talk to me again it'll be about perfect. Though mine has the pain in the ass auto climate control and A/C, which the A/C surprisingly works great but the heat is either all or nothing. I think the vacuum hoses need replaced, must be a leak somewhere.
I rebuilt the cassette player as one of the first things I did, the very first was pushing it out of its grave and getting the clutch unstuck off the transmission. Just started it in gear, held the clutch pedal and slammed the brakes until I felt the clutch pedal actually work.
A alarm system/remote lock was installed a few months before I was born, found the paperwork under the drivers seat.
Overall it's a super fun car, I just did a complete tune up on it and it certainly gave it a big acceleration boost. Thing at low RPM actually responds really well now.
Had an 82 280zx for 15 years. Slowly restored it over the years just to have some jackass make an illegal turn and into my lane and hit the breaks.
It's the best vehicle I have ever owned after saying I would never buy Japanese.
Hopefully I'll have another in the future
Inline 6 is a great engine
I had a few of these cars super nice

Do you know the engine bay light on screws and you can move it to where you need the light

@@thomasdecristofano112 Philippines. Only few Zs were sold here. And my dad was a toyota guy since the 80s lmao so no free Z for me lol.
@@andrestrd Thanks for sharing! I’m definitely grateful to have found such an amazing machine.
Your inspection lamp under the hood will also unscrew n reach across the engine bay.
Wow that’s amazing I didn’t know man thank you!
Keep it stock , the lowered ones look dreadful.. Here in the UK, that would fetch 20k..
My photo my Z31 300zx fairlady.
