I've noticed in these stories that MC is always starving, but then gets some bad news and looses her appetite 😂😂😂😂. Good stories and interesting characters in this series.

Cori is very different in this book 🤔...suddenly she is afraid of everything and weak while before, in earlier books she been EMT and seen awfully mutilated bodies and stuff....and bravely jumped in to save the day! I understand that it is different to be afraid for your own life and have assassing after you. Really very different fears than before. I think that you could have brought that forward a little more and not seemingly change her personality. How she faces her her fears have been different in earlier books. Also, in the middle of the book, she was using her magic during the assassing attack instict way and was very powerful in the middle of the book, but did struggle more to defend herself in the end of the book. It did not make sense. The only lightly buzzling things in the book. Saying all this...I am totally addicted to the story and listening 16 hours per day!!! 😅😅😅 Absolutely excellent book series!!! Awesome! I will recommend highly to all of my friends!!! 💪💪💪
I think your fear changes as you get older and find out more stuff. I know now I'm scared of totally different stuff than I was in my 20s and I tend to overthink more.

Series is riveting. The narrator is also very important . For me the narrator can make or break a series. Narrator is excellent . Many series have lost my interest no matter how interesting and well written due to the narration
I really enjoy this series. A rollercoaster of emotions. I'm wondering if the Dean of the school is complicit with the assassins being there as faculty? Would hate to see her expelled. I will be waiting and watching for the next book. I feel a lot of potential for a long series here.
