@jasonone8726 Robert Zemeckis refuses to make back to the future 4. If the studio get some random director to make it then it will be a rushed sequel. Time is relative.
The first Paddington movie is criminally underrated. All the popularity of the Paddington films come from Paddington 2 which I agree is the best Paddington movie. But the first one deserves more recognition. I saw that film in theaters and I felt like I was the only person who saw it since no one around me in-person knew what Paddington was. Heck, me and my family were the only ones in the theater for Paddington 1.
I enjoyed it as much as the other films to be honest. I feel some people (not saying you) have almost been on a crusade to bash the third film. It's always the same when you have a new director but for me, the crucial things are still there in this film it just has a different feel with being set somewhere else. I loved the overall connection of this film, which is still about how people fit into families, but also how families change as they begin to disperse naturally. The family dynamic was still there, I thought Emily Mortimer fitted into the film really well. I thought Olivia Coleman was a hoot in it and I also liked the family relationship that was going on between Antonio Banderas's and his daughter and that pull between family and the possessions (gold). I still think there were some genius little touches through the film itself, not going to give anything away. But overall I felt exactly the same when I left the cinema having seen the other films, much happier than when I went in.
I liked the first Paddington but surprisingly *LOVED* the second one, and so I really don’t know where this one is gonna land for me, based on its track record I’m expecting it to be good, will it be as good as the second movie? I don’t know, but man do I hope it is
It has been they way for all the Paddington movies, November in UK & January in US (no idea why though so late in the US, you would think it would be a great film to hold well over in the holiday period)
@@marksousa8595 maybe, the really soon digital dates these days are usually for movies that have opened in the US. All the Oscar films that the UK and rest of the world don’t usually get till January are always online by the time they came out theatrically
I mean it’s pretty common for a third installment to be the weakest of a once great duology because people always want to rush the third I hope beyond the spider-verse doesn’t go that route because I would be extremely angry it’s only rare where a third for some reason is as great as the first 2 Toy Story 3 return of the king etc but I hope I still get a warm hug out of it
Most 3rd movies are bad, though. At least this was in getting a good response. Even Return Of The Jedi never got a critically acclaimed response like the first 2 and was considered the weakest one in the trilogy.
I knew this was going to be the weakest Paddington movie ever since I saw the trailer. I still believe I'll love it but the first two Paddington films have something in them that I feel like this one might miss out on. Hard to explain though but it'll be easier to point a finger on once I rewatch them both.
Not surprised at all. The studio rushed a 3rd one out without waiting for Paul King to be available
Rushed? The last movie came out 7 years ago.

He chose not to come back
Paddington 2 is easily my favorite. I think I'll still enjoy the 3rd.

Animation is not just for kids people at age 30 can still watch these movies and I’m in art school
Why the two different release dates? Nov 8 and January 17?

@mk6rfc1 you will be able to steam it illegal before the movie comes out in north America

One of the few times the US experience what UK film fans experience all the time, which is films coming out months after their overseas release.

Well they've delayed the shit outta Beyond the Spider-Verse so I imagine they're not rushing it

😂 Es depende de la perspectiva de cada uno.
Porque hacen caso a esos críticos del cine?
Para mí será la mejor trilogía! 👏🏼👍🏼
Toy story franchise I think its best trilogy
Not a trilogy anymore though with them going into the fifth one now

bearer of bad news 😭
Paddington 3 was good but not as good as 1 and 2 😢
