Well now Yvonne…I chuckled through this whole visit. First because I have finally come to the realization that I have ALOT of vintage/antiques and collectibles in our retirement cottage as I watched you meander through the sales in this vlog. The decorate with me session reminded me of my father telling my mother not to rearrange furniture after he went to bed as it was dangerous to his health when he got up in the night because things weren’t where he remembered them being. I am no minimalist so I don’t ever think you have things cluttered. I just wonder where you get the strength to let go of so many of the things you pick. I just can’t let loose of much of anything. I guess when it’s your job it is easier to part with your thrifted treasures but I’m not too sure that would help me. I love your newest addition to the family and the name still cracks me up but it sure is fun to watch the antics those fur babies provide. I hope we see more decorate with me as well as let’s make it with Chris type vlogs because I enjoy them too. But then I just love all our visits no matter the content!!!:):):)
Early in our marriage (now close to 45 yrs), my hubby worked nights and I would spend the evenings rearranging furniture. I would leave him a note warning him that I changed the bedroom around!! Guess I wasn't the only one that did that. Your story about your parents brought back that memory. Thanks
My two dogs with their tails have knocked things off shelves and their are times when they hide their toys behind shelves. I love taking my oldest dog riding which he loves and the cold does not bother him with his fur coat as just have to potty when he tells us. I keep saying time to refresh but first time to get over the winter cold. Stay safe, warm, prosper this Easter. 😊😊😊😊

The curtains are lovely and are bright and airy! My old house has 30 windows. How I remember my mother changing out the curtains! I removed all the curtains ( except the kitchen) and replaced all the blinds with honeycomb shades. What a wonderful relief!!

Love all your collections. I learned something with your equate denture tablets. My house burned down February 23rd. So I am trying to save some smoke damaged perfume bottles. I hope the denture tablets work . Keep on doing what you do . I miss Flea Markets !

hey Yvonne! For any flea market, my advice for you is always bring cash and never pay full price of asking. A lot of them put the price up higher because they know that people are going to negotiate the price. I’ve been doing flea market, most of my life with my father, which was a collector of antiques, and he was also an appraiser.😁 Thank you for sharing!❤
Edit- I had to share what I bring with me when I go to antique markets. Bring yourself some reusable bags and stuff it full of bubble wrap, and some paper. if you’re a serious buyer, I have a foldable pull long wagon so I can put all my items in it.😂🤷🏻♀️ but you are right if you see something and you don’t buy it you miss out on it! I’ve been there and done that quite a few times. 😁🥰

It's fun to move decorations around and see them in new places! I get to do that for Christmas and Spring, but the rest of the year the things I move are ones I need to use...and then I don't know where to find them. Currently hunting down a 4-way splitter for the garden spigot. I do not want to buy this thing again. Any chance there's a fun mental game I can play when I don't want to search?

My mother had 27 windows on the first floor(!) of our house alone. It cured me of curtains for good. I just have pleated shades and I love them😂

I just wanted to throw this idea at you….. have Chris make a very short ( maybe 9” tall) but long (the length of the cabinet) primitive bench with the 2 “V” legs on either end to raise the cabinet up just a little.. I think you will like the look! ….just my opinion! I always Love your videos & have to stop everything I’m doing just to watch! Love your new home!

The open shelving unit appears to be the top of something. Might look better raised up off the floor, maybe on an old dresser. I have a similar setup. Also, would like to see the prices of the things you pick up as you browse. Tags are too small to read. I love and watch both your channels.😊
I really love how you did the shelf in the lounge and all I kept thinking was, please don't knock them down Tater! The rosaries on the vintage bottles look so beautiful and then with the antique bibles...next level!

I think if you look closely at the first crystal rosary cross ….right in the middle, inside that crystal bauble…. it possibly may have the “our father” prayer unscripted very very tiny inside

I love my drop cloth curtains. Cheap and sturdy. They block the cold well. And in the summer I can push them away to the edge of the rod.
I like watching these sales you go to. That flea market's pricing was a liiiiiittle high. There was some beautiful items there.

Love the new repurposed cabinet & mirror where you placed them in your home! But, I have to say that Tater stole the show! He's quickly becoming a "showman" on your channel! Pretty soon people will be tuning in to see if Tater is going to make "guest appearance" each week! I have a junk store close to me that has hundreds of those clear bottles maybe thousands for .25 to a dollar or 2 all sizes from itty bitty to xlarge
I love cloche’s and hurricane lamps. I love how you always have the unexpected with your cloche decorating. You have given me some good ways to use mine, like how you stacked the three pieces of wood and added the clothes pins…..I love the idea of just stacking pieces of wood for underneath instead of using just one fitted piece!! Thanks so much!
Great video. I have several those clear bottles I found in our ditch line. When It was pasture land people dumped trash there. Yes the denture tabs and hot water does wonders them. There were also amber quart bleach bottles with lids. No idea what to do with them. Love your new shelf arrangement. Tater is the icing on the cake.

I picked up an entire shoebox full of those glass bottles in various sizes at a flea market for $5! I put bottles brush trees in some for Christmas and winter. I love them.
