This scenario is so bad.she go she came back she doesn't now what she wants.it is so bad .
To have a lazy irresponsible drug addict husband like Ali it's not surprising Ziba is depressed, feeling lost and pickle minded that she cannot make a firm decision for herself and Maryam where to go and live. She was born and raised in a village in the mountain as a shepperd like her mother and siblings. She wants to stay in her own hut on top of the hill alone with peace and quiet. But she is not quite capable of looking after Maryam well. She only knows the same way as Fatima raised her. Fatima doesn't like cooking well balanced meals, Ziba has become like her mother! She doesn't like cooking. If she does, it's only when she have guests and it's always kebabs, rice and bread. For everyday meals she hardly give nourishing food for Maryam. She let Maryam got used to eating junk foods bought from her uncle Akbar's store such as candies, chocolates, potato chips, drinks from packets, cakes etc. which are very unhealthy especially for very young kids like Maryam, Ahura and Arad.
The best for Ziba should be that house they rented before near Ali's mother where there was a big garden were they planted vegetables and fruit trees and a big yard for Maryam to play around.
Ali's mother always sent them cooked food.
Ziba is going to have her baby boy in few months time and she'll need every help she could get from Ali's family. If she cannot look after Maryam well how could she look after 2 young kids? Maryam would be more neglected once the baby brother is born.
She won't be able to cope at all if she is living in the village alone. If only Ali will stop taking drugs and get clean he could be a good husband and a father. Ziba don't have peace of mind as long as Ali is still taking drugs and all his debts are not fully paid. Strange men would keep knocking at the door to collect money and if he cannot pay, policemen would be arresting him again and again and lock him in prison.
I cannot blame Ziba for getting unsettled and restless.
