I’m saving for an evo 8/9. I’m currently at 14k saved up for one. I love how simple your’s is. The only thing I’d do different is I wanna go wingless. Also I would like to get regamaster evo wheels and wrap the car in that sand color you see on Toyota tacomas. Love your car, keep up the content as it’s good motivation!

Still trying to pay it off while it stays garage kept and a I daily a VW which is the dealer I work with as a tech. But once I pay it off and have money I hope to start the build. And your right if your an evo owner the the usdm bumper has to go and a jdm rear is a must one of the first things i did. Also follow u on ig keep up the good work bro

I can start working on mine now that i finally purchased a house with a garage. I have a red evo rs with some goodies, but far from where I want it to be. I definitely want to paint mine, and like you I couldn't find a white evo. So i might go the same route, and end up painting the engine bay black(If you can spot me that code, that would be great). If you want to have a clean ass evo you're gonna have to spend some solid money on a paint job. I think 10gs is steep but expect to spend at least 6k. By the way yes it's worth it.

Haha, no worries man. You can get a pretty good paint job for about 3-5K. It all depends if you really know your painter and their work. It isn't cheap to build your dream car! Out of curiosity, I looked up the price of an "EVO 9 SE" when it was new back in 2006, $34k. Your car is the first image on google results too, lol.
Man you spent a ton on cosmetic stuff..... I'd have a really hard time dropping $25k plus into a car without gaining an ounce of horsepower. I'm currently three years into my '03 Evo 8 build. Nearly everything on the mechanical side has been rebuilt or replaced. At any rate, clean ride. Build that engine! :)

U should have start w/t the motor, clutch, transmission, fuel system 1st & then the exterior (that’s my opinion) at least have coil overs. Y didn’t u go 2 macco 4 a paint job?
