Not Ustad, Ghazal singers don’t get classical titles until they complete 64 Raagas. Second best ghazal singer after Mehdi Hassan and then Hariharan. If we put Rafi saab in the mix he would be the winner 🥇
Ustad means a teacher. Ustad Ghulam Ali is a disciple of Ustad Bade Ghulam Ali khan , Ustad Barkat Ali khan. And where is it written that Ghazal singer can not be Ustad
