Here in So Cal, we have a number of spa companies but honestly, I'm not overly confident with their products. Your Sunrise Spas do appear to have a much higher quality construction methodology, just wish they were available here. Your videos are absolutely wonderful, thank you for creating and sharing.
Hello. I am located in So California. Really enjoy your videos especially the ones where you explain what makes a worthwhile hot tub. I am looking for a good brand that I can get here locally. Do you have any suggestions? Any help ,is greatly appreciated. Thanks SF
Hey Steven it's hard to say. What you have locally is really up to the spa business owners in your area. Hot tubs are shipped to dealers around the world. We bring in Sunrise Spas from across the country (Canada) I would look into Sunrise Spas, Best Life Spas, Freestyle Spas, (all made by the same people) Maax Spas (US Brand) & Arctic Spas are the other two I recommend.
I’m sure your not in our area but we have cracks around the surround of our Swimspa. Can this be repair? Would it be same like they redo bathtubs? I really would appreciate some guidance on what direction to head to for this issue. None are in water but I am thinking for it to match it all would need to be done. Please let me know if it’s possible and how? Thank you
Usually cracks are just on the acrylic surface layer... You need to drill a shallow hole at the end of the crack. It needs to go through the acrylic but not through the fiberglass shell... That will stop it from getting bigger... Then use a part a/b marine putty to smear into the crack, they usually come white grey or black (can add pigment tint too). Clean off as much as you can before it drys. Light sand with a 220 grit after to remove the excess... Then you'll need to buff if with a polishing wheel and cream.
