When I was watching this live I just imagined Jeremy at a real life Hatsune Miku concert in like the third row, and the entire event, he’s just jingling a HUGE tambourine he brought from home. And everybody around him, we’re all just thinking, dude, fucking stop, put that away, you’re ruining this for everyone, you’re not even doing it on the beat. But for some reason Hatsune herself keeps encouraging the little guy with an occasional wink or nod so nobody actually confiscates it from him as not to upset her

TBH he picked the more flashy songs, there's some with less wild music videos, like Meltdown, Snowman, Ashes to Ashes, and Wintry Winds. Snowman's a personal favorite of mine, but the just KAITO version is obviously way better than the Len or duet version.

As someone who has ADHD and loves Rhythm games (I play Muse dash, Miku, Warioware, etc) I vouch for this theory as well. It's kinda like listening to breakcore the overstim can turn you into a God at whatever you're doing in that moment.

Vocaloid songs never get copyright striked, that's one of the many fantastic things about vocaloid and vocaloid adjacent music. Producers (people who create the music) live and die off of community engagement. (SEGA doesn't own the music btw, it's all licensed from the community! Dunno the specifics but it's super cool regardless)
So what I'm saying is that Jerma could do a vocaloid karaoke night without worry of getting struck.
that'd be fantastic but because his japanese pronunciation is so terrible i think a chat member would have to volunteer to make lyric translations designed to be singable in english (jerma is far too good for jubyphonic lyrics)

This reminded me of when I was playing a while back on PlayStation, wanted to send a clip to a friend of a perfect clear but the audio was muted, thought it was due to copyright reasons. Is it a bug on my end or something?
@@Lofarus idk but it might be that if you recorded from some feature within the console and not a 3rd party device it mutes the audio to prevent you from "pirating" the music

Even though he has no idea about how much wowaka means to our community, there’s something really satisfying about seeing him appreciate wowaka. Sorry I don’t know how to word it better. I find it entertaining that even when jerma is told to play a game like this by his chat when he probably never would otherwise, he still try's his best and giving his all with jokes and such is really cool to see.
I completely hate the fact that I'm 100% gonna buy this game because if Jerma was silent for 90% of the video without telling weird dreams he had or gaslighting new viewers and just fully concentrate on the game play, it means if my ocd ass plays it is gonna be FUCKING SICK

Honestly a lot of vocaloid music is just straight up fantastic. I listened to a bunch of these songs for the first time around 7 years ago and I haven't gotten sick of any of them, if you're thinking about playing I absolutely recommend it!
This literally happened to me. I watched the vod and now I’m playing on Extreme difficulty.

God this stream was fucked. The sensory overload of Miku and Jerma's comments of her emerging from the screen and attacking his head made it feel like a hyperactive dream. Add in the fact I listen/have listened to like 70% of the songs he played and I've had multiple points where I've questioned if the stream even happened.
