Hmm i see the message of the series from a different point of view. I see it as "this is what happens when you decide to become a criminal. You get a good time at the beginning but sooner or later the lies will surface".
2:03- Funniest line in the whole show besides Jesse's line, "You don't want a criminal lawyer, you want a CRIMIN-AL lawyer", and there are hundreds funny lines. Skyler's reaction is perfect, too.
After watching BCS for years and years and having this deep understanding of and empathy for Jimmy, looking back at how sleazy and soulless he had become by the time BB was happening makes me a little sad for the character honestly
2:20 there was that episode in BCS where he convinces that woman he's kevin Costner, the one where he's with his friend who he hustles with, crazy that they used this in an episode so many years later, the attention to detail in the writing is amazing
Awesome compilation. Love when he blackmails Jesse's parents! One thing missing is the line from S3E7 "One Minute" where Walter walks in to see Jesse's face busted up: " Congratulations, you are now the cute one of the group. Paul, meet Ringo; Ringo, Paul."
@Nostalgic Waves That isn't an Easter egg and she didn't teach him that. Everyone knows that. It's likes saying Kim said "objection" once and Jimmy said it later so she taught him that. It's just a stupid thing they do in movies. It doesn't' actually work in real life anyway.
@Nostalgic Waves No she didn't you adamantly ignorant fool. He knew it because everyone knows that. It's like you saw kim use a doorknob and now your stupid ass is pretending Jimmy found out how to open a door because she taught him that trick. 0:36 saul being like that towards francesca seems unlikely now. but oh well. ofcourse the writers weren't anticipating a spin off when they were writing that.
"Don't drink and drive, but if you do, call me." I think this joke perfectly describes his character, using justice and laws as way of being preachy and marketing your image in the good light, but in the end, he still encourages crime, since with crime comes his only interest, profit.
3:09 "You two wanna go stick your wangs in a hornet's nest. Uh, it's a free country! But how come I always gotta get sloppy seconds, huh?" Just realized that this quote is perfectly linked to the cactus he gets Jesse as a housewarming present! 😂😂
And how about, where is the "Where'd you get your law degree Goodman, an epileptic whore house" quote by Hank, and Saul says, "Oh is that the same one your mom works at? Does she still have the two for one special"?

Walter destroyed an entire "economy"
Yeah but it was Saul who lured Walt into his life, with the classroom scene shown in this youtube video
"what about you counselor? Do you concur?" Was his best!
"Hey Francesca what happened to my masturbator you got me all mixed up?"
8 hours till I can watch the BCS S4 finale!
Update: It's all good, man
After watching BCS for years and years and having this deep understanding of and empathy for Jimmy, looking back at how sleazy and soulless he had become by the time BB was happening makes me a little sad for the character honestly
I think the same as you it’s a tragedy
Looking at those commercials, I like to imagine his production team from Better Call Saul was with him this whole time.
No cuz the film crew from BCS was actually competent and made good commercials
This man gives me hope in life.
Yeah i agree✌️
2:20 there was that episode in BCS where he convinces that woman he's kevin Costner, the one where he's with his friend who he hustles with, crazy that they used this in an episode so many years later, the attention to detail in the writing is amazing
Awesome compilation. Love when he blackmails Jesse's parents! One thing missing is the line from S3E7 "One Minute" where Walter walks in to see Jesse's face busted up: " Congratulations, you are now the cute one of the group. Paul, meet Ringo; Ringo, Paul."
Do you concurr
Such a great performance that was, he sure deserves his own show.
It's shocking how different he is compared to BCS, haven't watched breaking bad in a lot of years and forgot how much he changed between shows
2:17 I remember this in Better call Saul
Kshitiz Garv a
@Nostalgic Waves No she didn't.
You are doing a great job of making someone look stupid.
Mickey E bro enough hostility. It was clearly written to show Kim teach Jimmy that. Just knock it off already.
Did he break bad by turning into 'Saul', just like 'Heisenberg'
duff Yes. That is the point. These two shows share similar themes.
‘You are killing me with that bOoTy’ *grunts* -ALWAYS CRACKS ME UP💀💀💀
4:37 best line ever 💀😂
0:36 saul being like that towards francesca seems unlikely now. but oh well. ofcourse the writers weren't anticipating a spin off when they were writing that.
Eh, I can see it now after that new episode
Not now.
Better Call Saul is so underrated. Any one agrees ?
EVERYONE agree
I agree
the first season is boring
@@onda2981 yes but as the seasons go on it gets more and more interesting
Everyone does
Just in time for BCS s4 finale ;)
Did you like it?? I loved the ending 's'all good man" perfect
Already done
@@amandatidey5751 such a depressing season finale, I loved it
Saul: " Its all good man".
Can't wait for S5. It feels like decades since S4
"Some people are immune to good advice"
Always cracks me 😂
I need to see Roger Sterling and Saul Goodman together in a movie.
Roger Sterling looks like Howard Hamlin.
2:03 i literally couldn't believe he actually said that lmao
"Don't drink and drive, but if you do, call me."
I think this joke perfectly describes his character, using justice and laws as way of being preachy and marketing your image in the good light, but in the end, he still encourages crime, since with crime comes his only interest, profit.
This video should just be a compilation of every scene Saul Goodman is in.

RIP Jimmy McGill's good humanity
I’ve found myself in the habit of rewatching Breaking Bad & only watching the Saul Goodman bits.
same here
Go watch Better Call Saul
Same omg and especially after better call Saul
I love you!
Rajath Shetty I love you too!
0:50 Fuuuuuck, that's the same thing Kim did when Ernie told her about the recording 🤯🤯🤯🤯
3:09 "You two wanna go stick your wangs in a hornet's nest. Uh, it's a free country! But how come I always gotta get sloppy seconds, huh?"
Just realized that this quote is perfectly linked to the cactus he gets Jesse as a housewarming present! 😂😂
Theres no honor amongst thieves...except with us, of course.
And how about, where is the "Where'd you get your law degree Goodman, an epileptic whore house" quote by Hank, and Saul says, "Oh is that the same one your mom works at? Does she still have the two for one special"?
He's played a little dumber and sleazier in BB than BCS. I have difficulty believing Jimmy McGill calling a secretary "HoneyTits"
@Philip O'Carrol: Hell, Season 5 is still on the way, there. This wasn't just some "overnight" metamorphosis, remember?
a dude that pretended to be kevin costner so he could fuck a girl is definitely not incapable of calling his coworker 'honey tits'
We see some foreshadowing of this in the final scene of better call saul s4 when he calls that lady "sweetheart ".
dude better call Saul is slow, it’s gonna take a while but its definitely gonna happen, and I’m so excited lmfaoo
@@david2legit2quit I love its pace, I love how every scene is so meticulously done. I love how every scene doesnt necessarily have to do something with the plot or story. People dont make time to enjoy things anymore it's all rush rush rush "what happens next?" kind of mentality. Sit back and enjoy the beautiful shots of Jimmy painting a shop window stroke by stroke for one minute. Appreciate the cinematography, they really bring Alburqurque New Mexico to life.
Has there ever been a bigger “Breakout star” on a drama series than Saul Goodman? Was supposed to be a comic relief side character and ended up with his own series, 6 seasons strong!
It's crazy how much different Jimmy is even in this last season of BCS compared to BB, where he's flamboyant and funny, but almost cold as ice. If you watch the first couple episodes he's in on BB and then watch BCS, it's 2 different Jimmys/Sauls. Mind you in BB he's always in Saul Goodman mode, where BCS you see his personal life.
"Don't drink and drive"
But if you do... Call me.
America in a nutshell
Christ.. some people are immune to good advice.😂
After all he was a brilliant lawyer, he could solve whatever problem anyone had. Respect🙌
Saul is definitely the best character of the entire series
He is overly intelligent, the most useful and the most intelligent person in the entire show
Gosh I wish I knew the person like this
He is so underappreciated
Problem is that u won't appreciate or understand a man like that in real life
For me, Saul Goodman is the best character in the series by far. Tks Vince for this character!
One of the greatest character ever created of all the arts.
I think a massive difference between these two Saul’s ..is his confidence. He knows a thing or two bc he’s seen a thing or too lol. He’s so much more well versed in these antics.. throwing around catch phrases, making corny jokes etcetc bc he knows he can deliver. He believes in himself, and Chuck no longer lives rent free in his head.
I actually believe the Saul Goodman in bb is a split personality. He acts so different from what we see of him in bcs. So different it’s weird. We all know something happens to change him into that. We keep waiting, but he still isn’t like the Saul Goodman in bb. I believe something happens like maybe Kim dying. The trauma is so bad for jimmy that he literally develops a split personality that is just his scummy side. Saul Goodman. Mike also calls him Saul in Breaking Bad. He doesn’t seem the type to call Jimmy Saul. He does because he knows that isn’t Jimmy anymore. Unlike Walt and Heisenberg being the same person. The Saul Goodman we see in Breaking Bad is just a split personality of just his scummy side.
I just don't think he cares what happens anymore, so he's totally unfiltered
@@bluebubble229 well you were spot on!
@@bluebubble229 I don't think so. I think breaking bad is where we see saul goodmans act become more refined. He's in character as Saul so he can bring the best service to his clients. It's like working a retail job and having to be nice to customers, you get better and better at the act therefore you're not being you. You're turning on a different personality for your customers.
In breaking bad we only see him in scenes where he's being the lawyer to all the other characters. It's his job literally. In better call saul we see more of his personal life so we see Jimmy more.
So to simplify we are just seeing Jimmy get better and better at his job as he gains more experience.
I love BB Saul's dialogues
But the kind Jimmy in the first few seasons of BCS is my favourite
After season 4 this character makes a LOT of sense. I can definitely see Jimmy in there.
you're cute!

That shows writer's strength to develop a character.
This is a man who DEFECATED ON A SUNROOF!
2:51 is definitely one of the best
Saul hitting on franchesca hits different after better call saul
Right? Weird vibe now
