Did you use BJU English 4 the year before this? My daughter is going into 5th grade but her curriculum this year did not do much in the way of really explaining how to write a paper really well. She is years beyond in grammar, but her ability to write well is lacking. Would you think I should start with English 4 to help her grasp this or will English 5 go over the basics enough?
christian book website sells writing workbooks. I bought some. I could try to show them to you. But BJU teaches writing early on. Like grade 2 so thats nice. But so does CLE, and Abeka. I think bju is strong though in writing. We use a bit of cle and abeka for norah at this time. I have no problem with them being in a grade or 2 behind in certain subjects if it is what is needed. No shame in this. They will just go through it sooner, and have a better understanding. If you think grade 4 english is a good fit, then go for it. Maybe buy a writing workbook online as well to supplement. Whatever works!!
I like how bju press does half writing and half English/grammar starting second grade I believe. But I do like how Abeka is strong in grammar and also does the spiral method. We felt like the bju was good but we did buy some Abeka to add onto it. I also think rod and staff is great. More mastery style I believe.
@@lifewithashleynoah9893 I am not sure, but it was a good video. I liked it. :) I am trying to decide between BJU history, Notgrass and Abeka. I want the kids to have a deep understanding without necessarily needing me to be there every time. I have 6 kids and only one of me. Lol. I need them to be able to be mostly independent in case I am helping someone else. I am also still looking into science options... something without a complete reliance on Labs. Labs being optional, while still allowing enough text book work to drill it home. I am excited to do some labs.. but I may not always have time, so I don't want it to stress me out.
@@The_Real_Rambo I liked the way bju taught the history and also masterbooks as well. But I like the questions style workbooks better with bju. Personal style. Also bju sells the video led aspect as well if you want that
How do you feel this compares to CLE Language
? Other than being in color, what is the difference?

Its called just write. The workbooks
Are the videos required? Do you think it’s okay without them?
No you can buy just a workbook or the parent led subject kit and teach yourself from the teachers guide. You do not have to do the videos.
Do you prefer abeka or bju English? I noticed you use abeka in younger grades. Do you swap to bju at a certain level?

Video went black..audio good but video gone...??
You wouldn't happen to want to do a flip through on BJU Science and History would you? lol... You do a good flip through. :)
Sure. I did a few in some other videos. Let me know which one your asking for if I don’t have a video of it.
@@lifewithashleynoah9893 I found it! Thank you so much. :)
@@The_Real_Rambo ok. Lol. Is it the one that norah did? Lol
