I like the sound of Peter Jessop's voice so I'm not TOO cut up about him being all of the male Guardians post-Beyond Light, but the separate voice actors for each race did sound so cool.
A year late but fuck it, male Awoken voice somehow fits the Witness’ aesthetics really well. Smooth and suave like it’s some sort of higher existence and just completely apathetic to what you are.
Crispin Freeman played the Awoken Male. The man is a seriously talented actor. He also voiced Shin Malphur in the Malfeasance quest line when you have to do the altered version of thr Corrupted strike
As much as I like the exo male voice I still wish they didn’t decide to change all male characters to that voice. I’m curious why they did that for Shadowkeep since the other voice lines are there. Not sure what happened with Lost Light exactly.

Really wish they hadn't changed it so everyone has the same voice. I liked having my guardian sound like a real person, not someone trying their best to do a chief impersonation. It sounds good for exos but sounds forced otherwise.
Im sorry but exo Paladin Danse cannot sound as corruption creepy as human Matt Mercer's dark reflection of our Guardian. "We are your salvation" wasn't meant to sound evil or menacing, just a twisted reflection of ourselves. Human definitely takes the cake over that while Exo just, falls short by comparison.
@@JackJQC sounding "badass" all the time just ruins all of the times we're NOT supposed to sound "badass". A line delivery has to convey exactly what the audience is supposed to be feeling. But if the audience just goes "yeah he sounds like master chief and therefore he is badass" then its literally breaking all forms of the immersion. Matt Mercer has a far wider acting range and therefore all of his voice lines sound unique ranging from Young, Naive, to Creepy, unsettling, to Angry, Sorrowful, to utter *Hatred and distain.* Paladin Danse just sounds bland in all his deliveries, but because his voice is deep and raspy like Master Chief's everyone automatically likes it. That's not badass at all

The exo voice make is now the human voice male cuz I was doing the witch queen campaign and I’m a human male and be spoke and it sounded 100% like the exo male
What I find funny is that we have the same races for the same characters My Hunter is human, Warlock is awoken, and Titan is exo. Wish I could change my Hunter to an Exo, though. Or at least change his hair.
Human and Awoken both sound the exact same, but with different inflections in their voice. Someone please tell me I'm having trouble between the two Voice Actors, because I'm convinced they sound the same. Also, I wish I played an Exo, lol.
Either Bungie’s getting rid of the other voices or it’s a bug, I’m not getting very clear answers and I’ve also looked this up, turns out the voice actors for the awoken and human race weren’t aware of the “changes”. I also rewatched the Shadowkeep cutscene recently and my character has the exo voice while the darkness posing as my character has the human voice, so I’m not really sure what’s going on.
I think there's also a differences based on what class you choose. I have a Human Titan, and I'm pretty sure my voice is deeper like the Exo's compared to the Hunter.

Part of the reason they retired that voice was because the human voice actor is Matt Mercer, who also voices Shin Malphur.
