Reject modernity, return to Monkë
After few years brake from the bike i’ve started to looking for something. Till now i had gsxr600 and 2 x yamaha r1 2003 and 2004 but i decided to buy something more comfortable. First i thought about kawasaki z1000 i love how it looks but then i found some information about z900 and i started like it too and z900 is cheaper than z1000. And finally absolutelly accidently i found xsr and i fall in love. This bike is masterpiece.

I own a 2020 XSR900. These are not a Crossplane engine. These are standard 120 degree firing triples. That is 120, 120, 120 The R1's are 270 180 90 180. The new Triumph triples are Crossplane and are 0, 90, 180. .@@Mason_van_Bike

You’re right! Had my fun with it and time to move onto something new. Funny that someone local is watching! Haha
I have a 2021, and I love it. I put a calsci windshield on it, makes a world of difference on the freeway. I'd like to stretch it a bit, so I can accelerate harder without such a wheelie. Also, of course full exhaust and tune.
I note that the latest Triumph Tiger 850 has a T plane crank configuration. 0/90/180 with a 1/3/2 firing order. Better suited for mud plugging, apparently. It sounds more like a twin and has some extra vibes !
That’s super interesting about the tiger! I’m not sure I missed that. Neat to see someone trying something new with the triple.

Nice video. Do you still have it. I also have the same model year. I saw a comment on ebay that says oem qss can be installed by "repinning" it? Any ideas what that means?

Judging by photos alone, I think the XSR900 still uses the same seat, but perhaps they’ve changed the inner foam, who knows.
The 700 actually appears to have a flatter seat, which I’d be really keen to try.

Agreed, it's a brilliant bike. The seat is unforgiving though - I put some gel inserts in mine which improves it slightly - plus a sheepskin cover makes it bearable for a hour or so for me :-/
