I bought a pair of these about a year ago, they are wonderful. Built like tanks and have all the character and functionality you can ask for. I use them on everything and my friends have borrowed them for tracking more than once.
Make one for the 1081!! A direct comparison would be awesome

Would the bento 8 rack handle 2x ez1084? I'm super confused with delivering enough power to these?
The Neve mic pre circuit only draws about 150ma so yes an 8ch rack should have plenty for two...
I have a fully loaded Bento 10 with all kinds of preamps with transformers. I also have in there 4 CAPIs VP28 with 3 trannys. No issues
