If you do not buy the optional belt guard from SPYDER POPS. You will push it home. Said the man on the PIG TRAIL after the rain. If you don't know what I mean go there. Great Ryde but gravel will wash down from drive ways. Even if you wait for weather to clear. Heads up from KC SPYDER RYDERS. Stay safe have fun, see you there!

These are planned cuts by land management & logging companies, and they always get replanted. The smaller private cuts are hit or miss will replanting... The land across from us was replanted, but someone came through and took all the saplings!

Shawn, in your decision process, between the Spyder and Ryker, is it the off-roading that drove you toward the Ryker? What were the top 3 things that helped you make your decision?
There's virtually no comparisons between the Spyder and Ryker, other than being three wheeled vehicles produced by BRP...
In the Harley world, it would be like comparing a budget rough and raw Sportster to an expensive luxury touring bike.
These are demo units for me, and I decided to try the all-new Ryker for a season, and loved it. They are extremely fun and fast, but no replacement for the very smooth and refined Spyder's...

Love it! Are you using a Hero 7 Black in this one? The colors look amazing!
Oddly, I paired a new GoPro Smart Remote to my old Hero 6 Black while goofing around one day and never stopped using it... I didn't like the colors from the Hero 6, so I never used it. There was an update for it last year or the year before that must have fixed whatever it was I didn't like. I've been keeping the Hero 7 Black in a handheld vlogging setup and the Hero 6 in a MotoVlogging setup... Still, the Hero 7 Black is vastly superior in every way over all previous GoPro Hero cameras..!

Look´s like a ton o´fun! how would you describe the differences compared to your previous RT? Driving, handling, weight ect?
Other than being from Can-Am and rolling on three wheels, Ryker's and Spyder's are two completely different vehicles and can't really be compared with each other... The closest I can get is, a Spyder RT is like a Honda Goldwing with three wheels and the Ryker is like a go-kart with handlebars..!

So which rider mode should you put it in when street road conditions are poor (icy, wet etc..)?
You can use ECO or ECO OFF modes to make the VSS quite sensitive in poor road conditions... ECO (aka: ECO On) also creates a reduced power output to mellow things out even further. ECO OFF is full power with all safety systems in sensitive mode.

I found your videos by searching for Can Am Ryker. I just started seeing commercials on TV about them. So, I had to search for reviews on youtube. I noticed you said toward the end of the video, these weren't really made for touring. You wouldn't advise riding these on long trips? I've only ridden a motorcycle one time, about 20 years ago, so I'm not an experienced rider. I think this would be perfect for cross country trips, but it may not be. I just subscribed to this and your other channel.
The bike will handle anything you do with it, but it’s small size and lack of storage makes it more suitable for short trips...

is it just the video or does the Ryker SOUND meaner than the f3s? : / when i first got my f3s it kinda sounded like a sewing machine, this sounds deeper.
Another great Ryker vid! I'm noticing that there is a horrible distortion in the windshield, on the side contours...did you find this to be an issue at all? I'm shorter and would most certainly not be able to see over the shield, but sure want one attached. Not sure about the blurring though.

We cut them down for a reason
Trees are a renewable resource. They are taken down for a reason and replaced. No need to worry, there are more trees today than in any other time in the history of the world.
Mindchime Official but the only thing is is that the fir trees that were once normally 5 foot through (and that was a small tree) are now replaced by trees that are normally under 24 inches which is due to bad rotation of harvesting and thinning the times between harvests

I just wanna say that I truely support your channel and your true opinions on the Ryker. I like the way you addressed the tire falling off issue,but I don't like how T47 started bashing your name saying your videos had strange cuts in it while you were pulling the tire, and your paid by BRP to sell Rykers, he's mad at everyone except the one's who assembled it.
Geez, that guys still going on about that Ryker..? Someone goofed torquing his wheels down, that it, plain and simple! Sad to hear that he’s desperate enough that he’s throwing my name into it...
Things happen in life, folks make mistakes sometimes. Time to move on and enjoy the awesome bike, or buy something else.

What would consider too long of a ride for the Ryker Rally? Like I want to go for a 2 or 3 hour ride on the highway, around town or a little day trip And see, I live in the country with narrow and twisty roads that screams for a ride at 2up for a couple of hours without have to get the F3t to do it on. My heart is just set on the Ryker though.

Hi guys I like your video with the Ryker but i am a RT Ryder I love your videos when you take the long distance trips I'm wondering would you be able to do that on the( Riker ?)
You could tour, but you’re not going to be comfy and cozy like on an RT, and you’d have very little storage for an adventure... It’s an around town or back country play bike, and boy is it ever fun! But it’s not a Spyder in any way..!
