well, obviously you have been living in a bubble for 37 years and is therefore not qualified to pass judgement on anything outside of your little bubble
They become expensive paperweights in flooding zones electrical storms hurricanes. Not to mention the triple cost of repairs. You can't just pull it into a regular mechanic shop

Been a driver in the US for almost 10 yrs, all I see is ways to replace drivers.

Industry is focussing on EV, but HYDROGEN has the future.!!!! All these batteries are a real disaster for the environment.
The only thing I see happening with these autonomous trucks is putting drivers out of work.

Automatic transmissions are the worst thing ever happened to the world.
With a standard transmission you have more knowledge of what is going on you have more control over your vehicle then with an automatic.

I don’t want to pull any of the trailers the Volvo Vera is moving. They clearly have no brakes or lights. The pigtail and air lines aren’t connected! So clearly people are needed for that.

You know it seems like if you put solar panels on all the top of the vehicle it would charge the battery while you drive now even if you don't gather a charge as much as you use you'll get a bit further than without the panels. Just a thought.

The Peterbilt 389 clip was misleading! You also showed 589 pics and clips while showing the 389. The interior part was definitely of a 589! The two trucks are similar and are sisters, but both are definitely different. Learn your trucks, pal!

If we are talking trucks let's talk trucks , .....they are machines of toil , ...they work hard , hauling loads , .......they are not fashion statements, their drivers work hard for hours delivering the things you take for granted , untill you can not get them , do not confuse these things with actual trucks , these things are cartoon characters,

The majority of these trucks are trash! If it doesn't have a long, square hood with pipes sticking up on the sideď, and a dash full of gauges, then it's trash! The Peterbilt 389X and the Kenwort W900L are the onky trucks worth anything, at least here in America. For the European guys, if it's not a Scania or a top end Mercedes, then it's not worth anything! IJS!
