The fact that this is the only mpg normandy landings video i saw that used m4 shermans is incredible, considering that they did use shermans in the normandy landings, there was supposed to be 29 shermans landing on the beaches but due to bad weather only 2 manage to successfully land as the other 27 sunked 🗿
Also due to bad weather, the naval guns and the bombers that were supposed to hit the germans vital points in the beach missed due to again, the bad weather.
Edit: due to it being 2d its really just impossible to recreate the historically accurate d day landings. Aside from that the reason the germans lost in the landings was due to an opening on the "easy red" point in the beach (the left side) which some allies snucked in, and the rest is history. Also due to bad weather again, the allies couldn't even go near the beaches to the point where soldiers would jump to the water thats literally deeper than their head to swim to the shores, and if you get too close you will get mowed downcby the machine gun and the german mortars 🗿
