Objective:
To propose an energy efficient routing protocol for wireless networks in which multiple factors are considered for CH selection and nodes are distributed uniformly for reduced energy consumption.
Proposed Work:
A novel method is presented in this paper in which the sensor nodes are uniformly distributed in clusters and the cluster head are selected on the basis of residual energy, distance between the nodes and the remaining nodes. Further, to save the energy in the WSN, coordinated node is incorporated in every cluster to eliminate the chain based system for communication. The results of the model are compared with the existing work in terms of dead nodes, alive nodes and energy consumption.
