R.C. Sproul teaches faith alone instead of Faith and repentance and confessing our sins. Romans 10:8-13, 1st John 1:9, Matthew 6:9-13 & John 16:23-31.
And then you must be born again. 1st Corinthians 14:1 Pursue Love and desire spiritual gifts especially that you might prophecy.
May God's will be done in the name of His Son Jesus our Anointed Lord of kings amen.
I thought this was an autobiography title by RC.
Here's the thing, Christ is THE Savior…NOT a co- savior. Meaning? Anyone who tries to tell you that you have to do ANYTHING other than believe/trust in the finished work of Jesus Christ to go to heaven is spreading a FALSE gospel. You CANNOT earn it. And once you have it, you CANNOT lose it. This isn't my opinion, it's what The Book says.
Here's the TRUE Gospel (because there's only One): Christ Paid For My Sins (past, present, and future). The moment you believe He paid for YOURS, you can be sure you're going to heaven. That's not just good news, it's the best news ever. Take care friends.
I tried to watch this but he put a label on "Christians" and then has to explain that the label "liberal" has different meanings.
Well then, don't put labels on us. That's what denominations are about. They all have a varied belief system. Protestants are not born again. Sproul starts talking about Luther and some other man instead of doing what he started talking about. Studying the scriptures. Don't follow Luther. Follow Christ.
If anyone is a wolf in sheep's clothing; it would be Sproul.
RC Sproul is a false teacher.

@@barryallen119 The first problem with Sproul's public teaching that comes to mind is his slander of Christian traditions outside his own.
But, as I went back and read through some of his presentations, it is passages like this that I find dreadfully incoherent:
"We’re told...in Scripture, for example, that God does not delight in the death of the wicked (Ezek. 33:11). He doesn’t get some great personal thrill out of sending people to hell, even though He wills to do it, just as a judge in the court may be required to send his own son to a life term in prison for the sake of maintaining justice. He would do it because it was the right thing to do, but he would do it with tears. He wouldn’t get any personal pleasure out of it other than the pleasure that justice is being maintained."
His image of God is as a highly anthropomorphic, morally-conflicted, emotionally unstable, sadist and masochist, that violates his own will to execute a justice he created, a justice that is subservient to any mercy...And there are other problems in the short article, too.
