These are great plants. East to maintain, sun loving, long living, and attractive as well. A nice addition to anyone's succulent collection. I have one that's just a baby of about 4-5" tall and hope to have for many years. I love succulents because they're practically maintainance free.
comparing to your hand the plant is kinda of big, or you have a tiny hand ? my palm cactus is inside ,but it keeps shedding healthy leaves. any suggestions?
This particular guy is about 4 feet. Although I think my hands are on the larger side for a woman. As for your cactus, what is the temp of the area its in? Where are you located (it could be going dormant)?
It was very soft and when I cut it, it was rotted. I went higher up and cut it there also but if was still rotted.. I'll have to get a new one soon...this one wasn't very tall and I think it was pretty young🌱

I have mine inside too and its browning on the leaves and curling at the tips. Is it supposed to be outside ALL the time?
If the leaves look bruised your giving it ti much water, if the leaves have dried out then it needs more sunlight
Why is my matagascar cactus leaves turning brown and curling?? I love this plant....please help
why my Madagascar plam got some white spots on the leaves, thx
What if it's wet at the bottom? Can you save it?
As long as the rot isn’t too extensive, it should be able to be saved.
@@MadagascarMadness it wasn't 😔 Thank you though ☺️
@@sheilataylor7237 I’m sorry. Was the trunk very soft? Or did you try to chop it?

The Madagascar palm I have has broader leaves and no thorns.
Where are you located?
