    This might sound like a dumb question but for production class. If a gun hold 15 rounds, it can still be used but only allowed 10 rounds in the magazine?

    Great overview. It would be great to hear about the ammo used. Factory or handload? For handloads, bullet type and weight and powder type and charge.

    Could someone use an HK SP5 in a competition since it’s technically a handgun?

      I doubt it. To me I would think there is some weight limit or length limit or holsterable requirement. 🤷🏼‍♂️

    I’m sorry most of these guys come from wealthy families, imagine what a poor person that was raised around guns could do with these expensive weapons and gear.

    • @MrKook
      @MrKook 4 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      USPSA is very much a working man's sport. The guys I shoot with all come from middle class backgrounds. You can get into it for under $1000 all in, gun, belt, mags, holster and have a lot of fun. As yoi get better you can put money towards better and better gear. Guys may end up with a $5000 open gun but they've been shooting for a really long time and either will use that gun for decades or already have.
      Ammo is the most expensive thing, way more costly than the guns, particularly if you practice a lot. During sane times, 9mm runs about $0.20-0.22/round. A 200 round practice session is about $45.
      Club matches are pretty cheap, usually $50 or less. The one I shoot is $30. Match fees may be waved if you help setup.
      Shooting is very much a working man's sport and accessible to just about anyone with a middle income.
