      Thank you for watching. Becuase I had a friend who lives in the U.S., everytime he came back to China, he would go to the market buy those second generation amber bracelets and sell, he said foreigners don't care about this, they just buy the look. I doubt what he told me. But that was like 10 years ago, we had no more contact since 2014.

    Hi Karen, may I know how accurate is using salt water to test on flower amber authenticity? What is the right ratio of water and salt for the testing? Tysm!

    I know this is about 2 yrs old video.
    I do wonder about the dark red color amber I see on sites. Is that real amber? Some dark red listed as from Russia.
    Honestly I know nothing about this dark amber. I have not seen it in shops to inspect a piece. Would the same technique be applied?

      Oh I just came here to talk about red amber, mine is brownish and unlike you I had never heard about yellow amber, I didn't even know the name was amber, I saw that stone online and came to know the name was amber and it was referred as old Moroccan amber if it helps you, I don't think mine glow like that in the video, what I want to know only cut amber glow ? Or there are some other tests to check the red amber ?

    Is it true that amber glows under uv light? I have two flower amber bracelets. Is there a possibility that they are 2nd generation amber?

    • @KarenHuiCrystals
      @KarenHuiCrystals  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Hi, second generation amber also glows, so if we want to spot if it's real, the pattern is the more important. Plastic, 2nd generation amber would have stirring pattern.
