THIS IS SOMETHING UNREAL!, I genuinely thought that the tigers were in for an absolute belting today at the MCG against a quality side in the lions but after a disappointing first half the tigers were able to fightback from a 7 goal deficit and to hang on in a must win match. Geez the lions are going to be gutted/heartbroken given that they had the tigers on the ropes in the first half and given up possibly the biggest lead of this season (42 points) as well as still struggling to win a game at the MCG. P.S well done on Shane Edwards on becoming just the 8th Richmond player to reach 300 games as well as an incredible career at the tigers.

Told you Noah Cumberland was a gun!!!! Kicked Richmond's' first 3 goals, 4 of their first 6. He has speed, athleticism, footy instincts, ruthless in defense, and he can kick a ball!!! 5 GOALS 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I feel good knowing that once the unfortunate day comes where Riewoldt retires, we have Cumberland to fill those big almighty boots. I really hope he has a long stellar career at the Tiges as a forward.

Richmond's comeback was riveting. They looked gone first half, hang yer boots up. Then something clicked. There was no stopping that Tiger machine. They were 42 points down at one stage!! Kicked 10 goals in the second half, kept Brisbane to 3. It was sensational. The whole team lifted. I thought Bolton & Noah Cumberland were outstanding but it was a whole team effort.
WHAT A WIN! At half time I just knew we had something in us. Go tigers 💛🖤

For anybody wondering what happened with the score review in the last quarter, I was at the game and everyone was confused. Because at the game you could not hear the umpires on the mic. I watched a replay and what happened is Balta got pushed in the backed and was given a free kick, but for some reason the umpire decided to still do a score review.
If it is a free kick then what is the point checking for a score review? (From a tiger fan)

Was it the same umpire who didn't pay the obvious free kick to Bolton when he was turfed to the ground after he kicked the goal. Four Richmond men went straight in to protect him. Good to see.

An amazing and much needed win from the tigers. Had they lost this match, it would almost prevent them from getting into the top 8 for good.

All I can say is Cumberland!!!! What a champion!!!! You cannot teach skills and talent!!! This guy is a champion already..that third quarter was brilliant Tigers to good. Go Tigers 🐅. Chai Bolton is a champion too he was brilliant!!! Tom lynch, Jack Riewolt..we are the champions 🏆 Richmond will beat any team playing there best with a full list.

And I thought West Coast's near-comeback from thirty-seven points down against Gold Coast was impressive, but Richmond's successful comeback from forty-two points down against Brisbane takes the cake for comeback of 2022. This COULD either eventuate in a finals appearance for Richmond or an Elimination Final for Brisbane. Neither is guaranteed though. What the hell were the Lions thinking?

Again in my opinion at his best he is a good player no more. So to compare him to Bourke, Bartlett etc come on. I don't know where Dimma and others get this idea that he makes others around him better if he is not getting the ball. This year his stats are terrible! Too slow and now he can retire at the end of the season.
