I started to watch Kannada Films because of this guy.
I have seen only 2 of his films till now but can clearly see what a visionary he is. Congratulations for completing 10 years, many more to come

He is a sensible maker. Even though he isn't a traditional commercial filmmaker, he never let kannada film industry down. Proud of you, one of the flag bearers. Also, loved the way you spoke about uppi, girish kasaravalli and other kannada legends.
Rakshit's brain works so fast that his mouth is trying hard to cope up with the data being processed. All the best to the great actor/technician.

Rakshit speaks similarly even in Kannada and tulu too.. He is damn sharp, intelligent and has so many thoughts going on his mind every time. U can see this similarities with Elon Musk too.

The shetty duo are the greatest film makers of KFI ever from the past decade atleast. I hope they gain an insane amount of recognition throughout the world which they truly are deserving of.

I think Rakshit was right about our industry. Our industry was in peaks in the 80-90 decade with great directors like puttanna sir, dorai bhagawan sir, Shankranna , Kashinath. In the 90's directors like uppi, nagabharana,etc resisted our industry. It was only the 2000-2009 decade our industry had a downfall. We gave only a few gems per year like mungaru male, duniya, mata,etc. And 2010-2019 is the decade we started gaining great directors/filmmakers like prashant sir, Rakshit sir, Rishabh sir, raj shettt sir, Hemanth rao, Bhandari brothers pawan kumar. Hope our industry gains more good directors and become commercially viable like the other main industries.

I think 90's saving grace was Upendra's movies like Shh,Om,A and Upendra (the film). NāgābharaNa also came up with Chinnāri Muttha and the classic Nāgamandala. Also we've to remember NagatihaLLi Chandrashekahar's originals like America America(along with his other movies). And the master story teller Sunil Kumar Desai (BeLadingala bāle, Nishkarsha,Nammora mandāra huvey) gave us original,diverse and commercially successful movies. That's why I used the word 'rescued'.

I absolutely agree with rakshit about films which showed longu macchu , there are series of film on this style which doesn't attract all types of audiences that's why there was a downfall. People still love to watch old films even after watching them for so many times.
