I took (and passed) the test on this bike two weeks ago and was convinced this would be my next bike. The dealer encouraged me to also try the 1200 GT Pro before making a decision and boy did he end up regretting his suggestion. I found the 1200 less top heavy, more planted, and obviously with quite a bit more power, so the 900 ceased to be a topic of discussion. The problem for the dealer was he had no interesting deals on a 1200 apart from a 2 year old demo bike, so I ended up buying the 1200 elsewhere. And, to my delight, I found a 2024 Demo 1200 with 1‘100km on the clock and a 25% price discount. Thanks for the tip, Mr Dealer.

Have been driving the Tiger900 rally sinds april. And I must say I love this bike. I came from the tiger 800 and the only complaint I have is the cruise control can only be active from 43 or 46 km/hr (forgot except nr.) and the 800 was active from 30km/h great for village driving.
But everything else is better. More power, looks, seating position + comfortabel seating. Came just back from the Alphes and driving 10 hrs was stil good (don't expect a miracle it is bike comfort) and the engine crashbars are great as a foot rest for long journeys.
    Great bike for middel weight.

this will probably be my next bike. i was really tempted by the f900gs but when i actually saw these at the dealership and sat on them, i shit myself a little bit. its just what you expect from triumph. the build quality and fit and finish of the tiger 900 is unparalleled. i just got my striple rs this year so hopefully ill have it paid off by next riding season so i can grab one of these.

I have the exact same bike, no vibes for me compared to the previous generation which I felt was way too vibey, unbelievable brakes, the quick shifter/blipper is the best I've used on any bike and the spec you get for the price is top notch. On the road its smooth and very planted, off road its very very capable, so much so I part ex'd my 1250GS for it, no regrets.

Visually i think the green tiger is one of the top 3 best looking adv bikes together with the desert x and the norden. Before buying my desert x i test rode a tiger, but didn't enjoy it as much as i hoped. Especially in tight corners the tiger felt so much less nimble and sporty compared to the desert x. I could really feel the big front wheel

Listening to yours and a few others reviews on the bike is great. Rode it a few weeks ago on a triumph off road experience and it’s awesome. I have just part ex’d my 2021 GT Pro which I absolutely loved, my only issue was at 6’2” I found it a bit short in the leg for me. I also found the quick shifter ok, however new version is way better. I was not keen on the old seat nor the TFT. So I went and tried a new Rally Pro and fell for it, nice and tall for me and way better comfort for my height. New engine just improves what I thought was already a good engine, the slight vibes never bothered me, but even less with the new engine. So now I await delivery for Sept 1st, until then I still have my V7 Guzzi 850 to trundle around on. For me worth the upgrade. Khaki green with white frame looks ace in my eyes, that’s all that matters.

It's great off road but you MUST drop rear preload and increase front preload to increase the angle and make it work. Very twitchy if you ride off road with the showroom setup. Proven over 13,000 miles on my 2022.

I just don't get the issue with the supposedly vibey engine...
I have an Aragon edition which doesn't have the damped handle bars and i genuinely don't feel any buzzy engine vibes.
The only thing I'm disappointed in are the front brembo brakes which are frankly ....crap , i expected the stylemas to offer much better bite and feel..
Other than that, the tiger is an excellent bike.

Triumph has lost their way messing with their lovely smooth triple engines going to using a T plane crank configuration to make the engine feel more like a twin such as KTM. I found the Tiger 900 GT Pro engine vibey, uninspiring, characterless, lacking power and refinement at higher speeds. I was really disappointed when I rode it. I doubt this most recent iteration has completely solved these issues as it still uses the T plank crank nonsense. I would get a Yamaha Tracer 9 GT Pro instead now it has a good TFT screen. The engine on that is far far superior to the Triumph. Also if you want a bike with characteristics like a twin, then buy a twin such as a KTM 890 Adv which I have ridden and liked very much. Triumph seems to have made some really daft decisions recently. Their loss plenty of other good rival bikes to buy.
