Hi this is used in patient suffering from diplopia.
You calculate the amount squint by a prism bar and then give it accordingly

Çünkü prizma çubuğunda hastanın beyanı esas alınıyor. Ya hasta prizma çubuğunda kaç numarada tek görüşün olduğunu algılayabilecek beyin yapısına sahip değilse ne olacak? Ila Ranjan The reason of using Fresnel Prism is to get rid of double vision. Though it can be done by normal prism but the there are some advantages because of which Fresnel Prism is used in some cases in this video we have explained the advantage and disadvantage as well
