Vivian, honestly, a better teacher than you does not exist. Cutting and sewing pants has always been my nightmare, but following you just made it as easy as anything else I have been doing. Thanks a million hon

THANK YOU🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥I’ve seen so many videos showing how to do this but yours was in layman’s terms and so easy to follow 💕I can’t believe I’ve just drafted my own pattern from my measurements 😘New project started🔥🔥🔥🔥
I agree with you Agu, this is the best tutorial I have come across on TH-cam. She is an excellent teacher! I can see her passion as well. I appreciate her and honour her.
Well explained Ma. God bless you. Pls I noticed there wasn't any provision for the band when you started measuring from waist to hip point and the rest.
I am a beginner plz if it was a fitted trouser am I still going to divide the knee by 4…and if it were shorts that would stop at my knee or wld I still den divide by 4
You're my favourite creator my love. I love your videos and I hope you won't mind if I tag you in my videos. You're so inspiring boo. I'm a beginner and I made a nice skirt just watching you. You're so amazing at the explainations. You're a dressmaking, best sew teacher😍. Wait for me to try.
Ma’am Viv I’m making this soon with the crop jacket from your page, please what is the point of the 1 inch you took down after cutting the pattern paper. I mean the upper side that slanted and is it compulsory?
Please on the left side of the back pattern ,will you cut the 1 and half inch. (waist line ) measurement off or you’ll leave it there .. when you were cutting the back pattern, you didn’t show that area ..
Most times after cutting my trouser it doesn’t lap at the back waist except I put elastic on it Please what could be the cause of it because I don’t want to put elastic on it
Please I have a question you didn’t add allowance to back the place when you cut out 1.5 inch you didn’t add allowance from the waist to the hemline or are you cut it unfold I hope you understand what I mean
@@VivianOkeke ok let’s say you want to Cut it unfold you don’t need allowance right but since you’re not you need allowance to just the side together but you didn’t add any you only add half inch to the crotch
Thank you Vivian. I run a ready to wear brand, how do I get the thigh and crotch measurements for a plus size?? I obviously haven’t seen her before. Hip 55.
on the thigh line for the front pattern my measurement to the left is more than the paper i'm drafting on, I extended the pattern paper and it looks funny, did i do something wrong @vivian okeke
Good morning ma. Can this same method be used for plus sized people. To get the thigh line for a plus sized person do we also measure 3 inches after the crotch line
Hi. Vivian, Thank you for such great content, I love your style on teaching , I have a question, Should I create my starting line the size of my waist? I'm a beginner, clearly. Lol
I love your channel. Your explanations are so clear. How will one adjust the pattern to fit a bigger hip or buttocks person? Especially the back pattern.
I also understand that there needs to be an allowance for the back part of the waist to accommodate the butt by going up by at least 1.5”. Other than that, the tutorial is clear and well explained. I stan the queen👏🏼👌🏽🌺🌺
