Nice video but i would really like tips on how to calculate the crotch without having to sit down and measure because somehow it has always come out wrong
To get ur crotch line, ur waist to hip +2 inches. U dont have to sit and measure. Then on crotch line divide 1/4 of ur hip by 4 to get the crotch curve.
Pls i was following this o bt i had to sew fr someone that has a thigh of abt 18 so i divided it by 2 the normal way bt when i tried placing the middle point on that straight line,the left part was nt up to the mark that is the material was nt enough on one side

But stitching allowance was not added to the thigh & ankle

Please ma,why is the back waist different from the front? What if am sewing a dart less trouser how do i go about the back waist?
The back waist is cut differently in order for the back pattern to accommodate the hip.

I think it's out seam minus inseam equal crotch measurement
Hip measurement divided 4 +2
If u divide ur hip by 4,wat u get will be ur crotch depth
Is divided by 4 ooo
To get ur crotch line, ur waist to hip +2 inches. U dont have to sit and measure. Then on crotch line divide 1/4 of ur hip by 4 to get the crotch curve.

Just use ur round thigh measurement divided by 2.If ur round thigh is 25 divide it by 2,which is 12.5 .use it for crotch length.
I never tried this before so I can’t tell for sure.
