What is the relationship between a British king in World War II on World War I?
Can you make a Indonesian civil wars' video i hope you can make it fast

What version of Adobe After Effects do you use?
The battle where an Australian fought the Ottomans because a Serbian killed an Austrian and the Australian was forced to join because a German invaded the country of a Belgian that pissed the British.
You say that as if back then Australia wasn't essentially an extension of the British homeland.
Everyone knows a Siberian from the far east is a Russian like a Russian from Moscow. The idea that Australians are some principally different people from the British is nonsense and a modern idea.
@@CobraRedstone First of all he was talking about SERBIA the independent country not SIBERIA a region of Russia. Also Australia wasn't really a British extension and they could kick the British out whenever they wanted. The British still needed approval from Australia if they needed to do something. The British could not just set up a iron mine there if they felt like it. They needed approval from the Australian government like it's other dominions. The only real thing that Australia had to do is that if Britain goes to war Australia and other British dominions have to go to war and also trade with the British. If they wanted they could probably kick the British out with the help of the US in terms of trade. The only British Dominions that were pretty much extensions to British land were Newfoundland and the British Raj (India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Myanmar) Edit: The first sentence I didn't realize he was making analogy ok?
@@Austin252 he was making an analogy to Siberia

That's why Canadians and Australians pretty much left the empire - so their sons do not have to die on foriegn shores of enemies that are not really their enemies.
Why is Churchill's 1940 speech in this video regarding WWI?!?!?!
Because Gallipoli passing plan was decided by Churchill. He was military minister in ww1 time
@@y_a_1904_ no shit sherlok
@@y_a_1904_ But the fuck up was mainly because of incompetent generals.
Australian and New Zealand divisions: so, you are telling me we traveled half the world to invade some peninsula, lose badly and with high casualties, because some random dude got shot by a serbian?
No, they did it because they were bullied into doing it by the Allies
They were colonies
@@My_Lacrimosa the reason for it is still because some Serbian dude got killed. They wouldn't be there otherwise.
@@guard6069I would think Ww1 one would still happen if a random Serbian dude shot someone, the Powers of Europe tension were very high and Austria Were looking for a reason to Declare war, There would always be tension when stuff gets occupied like the Austrian occupation of Bosnian and the rival between Germany and Great Britain

Churchill speech in this was in ww2. During the d days. He made this speech when they needed to land in Normandy. Dont get confused.
Plenty of Turkish speeches that could've been here, but its all British and German ig
Is it easy to find Turkish speeches on the internet? I know that the British and German archives are easy to find but are you aware of some resources for the Ottoman recordings?
@@brianh9358 There is some speeches from Mustafa Kemal, Mehmed V, and probably more. It just felt weird that he included WW2 Churchill speeches rather than Mustafa Kemal speeches or Mehmed V ones.
@@SnapplyPie Understood. I know that Gallipoli was one of the disasters that Churchill planned so it makes sense for him to appear in the audio but I don't think any German troops participated at Gallipoli (that I know of). I think Mustafa's famous speech about Gallipoli occurred many years later in 1934 but still it would have fit here.

probably 20 years ago.. I was a little kid.. we used to go to my aunt's summer house every year.. in a location just after Çanakkale, just before Istanbul.. naturally, we visited Çanakkale every summer. I would see it once. Once we went for a walk in Çanakkale. As a family, we saw everywhere there was war. My mother and father don't speak English, I didn't know English at that time anyway. One ANZAC came. I say ANZAC.. he came from Australia. We said "come", he jumped into the car and we took him to the Anzac cemetery. He thanked us. There is probably no other community in history that has gone to the other side of the world to become extinct because of an issue that does not even have its own issues, that does not concern them at all. This is what the world was like 100 years ago.
Appreciate the effort but It's a shame you didn't put any Turkish speech tho.

Best video map about this front of FIRST WORLD WAR, thank you
Love your videos, I know it's also tons of work but I wish you could add little snippets of historical context/details somewhere in the corner so we can research those further. For example at 2:38 we see forces arriving all the way from top. Is there a name for this unit we can search? Why they were called instead of troops from nearby towns as we see in the video. Little details like this would vastly improve the videos.
What countries are green and purple flag from?
Surprising to see both sides suffered pretty much an equal amount of casualties.
What an awful loss of life for that god forsaken patch of land.

i swear to god the british love to try to make an embarresing defeat a so called victory.
Britain: we pulled off one of the greatest operations pulled off in the war.
Germany and Turkiye: and what happened in the operation
Britain: saving tens of thousands of soldiers from being captured
Germany and Turkiye: You mean a massive retreat from an outnumbered outgunned force?
I'm pretty sure we remember it as a complete defeat. A fiasco. A crazy idea that failed completely. One of my grandfathers was there.

e this is good actually
What does world war two speeches have to do with world war one
This reminds me of a specific battle in WWII. Hmmmmmmmm...
That Churchill’s speech was WW2, not WW1
fun fact: Mustafa Kemal Ataturk respected the ANZACS and those who died there after the war, there’s even a Turkish memorial on ANZAC Parade in Canberra!
In fact, it has a carved face of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk on it.
how to do this?

One of the reasons for Russia's collapse was that the Ottomans closed the Dardanelles Strait and German submarines blocked the Baltic Sea, so Russia suffered a famine, which eventually led to the Bolshevik Revolution.
nah even if the revolution did not happen in 1917 it would have happened in the following years this was inevitable it has nothing to do with the famine, bolsheviks waited for the weak point

@@Miro.A.Mursu- the uk had more in reserves then the ottomons ukraine doesnt have more then the russians thats where the difference is.
Turkey should not forget that this success only came about with the support of the German Empire and the reform of the Ottoman army under the leadership of the Prussian cavalry general (and Ottoman marshal) Liman von Sanders.
Turks believe they are supernatural.
They even thought last year earthquake was a sign
Thanks superior intelligence to Sanders, there were twice as many losses. He withdrew the majority of the army to the Gulf of Saros, leaving the shores defenseless. It was the Turkish officers, especially Lieutenant Colonel Mustafa Kemal, who brought the situation together.
That, and Atatürk's skills.

Australia didn’t have a choice in the matter as much as we’d like to believe in freedom of choice it didn’t exist then they followed orders/commands from so called higher powers. But I have to say that I’m proud to be Australian for those blokes to go up against one of the worlds superpowers idk if they were declining the ottomans laid waste to Europeans for centuries they tried so hard to push them back and all the attempts failed the only way they could defeat them was from within and that’s how they did it 😊
