In my office, listening to this song and realize that I was weeping and crying out "Gotta Get To Jesus'". I tried EVERYTHING, except Jesus. Thank you so much for posting this song and reminding me that only HE is the answer to ALL my problems. God Bless you and your family.
I have listened to this so many times it's hard to believe. I suffer daily with Spinal Stenosis and Osteoarthritis. I'm only 60 years old and thought in my later years I would be going on vacations, redecorating my house every year (one of my rooms), having lots of fun with my husband after all the kids left home..... Well, that wasn't to be. God had a different road for me. I don't know why things happen, if it's for us to learn something or to draw us closer to Jesus, but my life has turned out different than I thought. Because of the chronic pain, I can barely walk or move very well. I pray every day for God to heal me and if not then let me see why he chose this life for me. No matter what , I'm hanging on to him and his word. This song is such a blessing........but all of them are... Thank you for helping me on my journey.

I love to hear the stories behind the songs!!! Yes that envelope was not lost, God waited for the exact time for it to be found!!! What a perfect song!!! Yes, even though I know Jesus---there are days I feel this way----fighting severe chronic illness since I was 25----I am now 63. Some days it is hard to feel His love -but He always puts the pieces together!!! He meets all my needs!!! He is so very faithful!!!!

Although I was raised in church and know what will happen if I do it, it just didn’t matter. My heart just can’t take anymore. The man that kept me in church all my life is dying and not ready and doesn’t care! MMorgan is my childhood pastor, (you know him), I feel God is so tired of me! Constant turmoil! If it wasn’t for your music and testimony I couldn’t have gone on this long! I can assure you that God isn't tired of you and never tires of His children bringing to Him their cares and concerns. He cares far more for us than we can even begin to comprehend. I stopped and prayed for your father after I read your note. Don't give up. Cling to the One who will never forsake you and who loves your father even more than you do. The Bible says He is near to the broken-hearted. He is certainly aware of your pain. Cry out to Him. He is listening. May God comfort you and give you the strength that you need in this time.

I feel led to tell you that even though you have heard this, the Lord hears your fears and He cares, He loves you unconditionally beyond our finite comprehension. When we are weak, He is our strength. Lean on Him, when you cannot find your voice, when there are no words to speak, no tears to fall, no strength to give - He is your rock, He is your strength, He is. Call out to Him. There is nothing too hard for Him, nothing too deep or wide that His heart and hand can’t reach. You were worth dying for. Your life has purpose - your life alone was worth it to Him. I am praying that each day you will choose prayer over panic, faith over fear, and hope and healing over hiding in pain. It is brave and courageous of you to write your story here, that is strength! There is freedom in giving control to the Lord, give HIM your worries and fear. May you find peace and comfort knowing HE loves you, hears you, IS your help and strength.
Ruth Anderson thank you so much! My heart is heavy. Although my father, a long time Christian, now backsliden, simply does not care at all if he goes to hell. He talks to people that have been deceased for years. He growled for 3 minutes straight (caught on xfininty cameras) without taking a breath. The doctors told him he’s dying, he said good; let the devil take me! I don’t know what’s happening or has happened to him. I find myself crying in my sleep, & all through the day. Knowing, if he dies now, he’s in a fiery hell for eternity. But he knows this! And I can’t help him! He told me to never call him again. I play, The Blood Of Jesus from The Collingsworth when I go around and he drew back to punch me. I don’t know what to do. I keep praying and beg God to help him. He kept me in church, raised me right. I do not understand this at all
SigSauer Gunner If your father truly gave his heart to the Lord, the enemy cannot take him from the grasp of the Lord. We can’t control others emotions or words, thoughts or actions and that can be so painful as you are experiencing with your father, you are doing the right and only thing at this time by giving it to the Lord and continuing to pray for Him and surrender this situation. When someone refuses to speak with us or hear us, forcing it will either cause resentment from us or to them - I’m sincerely praying that the Lord places a hedge of protection around you and against the enemy and brings peace to your heart and to your father and silences the enemies. Only God knows your heart and your father’s heart. Read and pray and stay faithful, the Lord will comfort you and be your constant through this trial. I promise you - He will never leave you or forsake you. Though we may not understand things, or see things, though our faith may be shaken at times, He is always faithful and His Word is always true.

I lost my brother two days before Christmas. I'm taking his death alot harder then I thought I would. The words I've got to press my way thru is how I'm dealing with the grief not to be confused with depression. The cycle of grief is so sad hard and just realizing that it is permanent.
