Hey, Evie I met you for the first time in 1977 at a Billy Graham crusade in Cincinnati Ohio, I instantly fell in love with your singing as well as your bubbly personality I was working as a counselor and after the service you came in the back area and talked to us and you did talk to me for a few minutes I thought to myself what a beautiful person. That was many years ago and now i'm an old man serving as a pastor in the island of Mindanao in the Philippines, good to see you still singing the gospel. Thank God

Tears in my eyes. Evie was my heart-throb when I was 16 (she was 17), didn't come to Jesus for another 2 years but she had a huge influence as did dear friends (one whom passed on the 23rd this year (Dec 2022) and my long time friend Ken Ham (Answers in Genesis).
My mum use to play Evie when I was too young for Kindy in Australia, I remember my mum cleaning the house with the record on, all the best Golden Evie hits, My mum died when I was 15 yrs. old, and sometimes I get all her favorite Evie songs and play them when I'm on my own, like tonight, and I'm 50 now, what great memories of the old days, and still loving Jesus, and soon to be with Him and my beautiful mum.
I grew up listening to Evie as a young child. I am so glad my dad had all her albums on LP and I wore them out from listening to them so much. To hear this song again brings tears to my eyes. Evie's singing is such a blessing to me. She is such an annointed lady. I am so glad I was able to find all her albums re-released on the iTunes store.

My twin sister loved the pleasant singing Grace as well as I brought her to meet Terry ,bed ridden several times a week with other friends ,to keep him loved as he became bedridden from 1972 - 1981 Terry passed in 81 even though he had been crushed in 77 by my Twin sis ,dying after a drunk driver hit her in California ,having been part of a singing group from CBI Clearbrook BC🇨🇦 🙌You !

Wow, I haven't heard this since I was about 20, which was a few years ago. I remember paying this over and over. Truth is its true, as I look back Jesus has been there for me.
She's older than me but I remember listening to her songs all the time. I backslide and came back to the Lord about 10 years ago and one of the first things I did was look for Evie's music and Sandy Patti's. Both are unique in their own ways. Love them both but realized that I love almost all of Evie's songs. I Sandi's too, but I only like a few, but she is one the greatest gospel singers that I've ever heard. May they come closer to Jesus... we are literally in the last days. Hope to see them some day in our new home.
