The production is superb as always, but really - anyone who has ever played professionally or even just played to supplement their regular income, knows that the game (especially tournaments) is heartbreaking and very difficult to beat. We aren't learning anything new here by seeing Frankie in despair - AGAIN. How many times is it going to be "my one last chance" or "the biggest flip of my life" - it's just all so melodramatic. It's not life or death, it's poker, and most of us have been there and we know that big downswings are part of it. I don't mind this being a big part of the story, but this seems like this has been the biggest part of this story for a very long time at this point.

This video makes u even more relatable as a gamblers perspective. We've all had these highs and lows. I have not yet recovered (since you'll always find your way) but your videos really help me to not feel alone with these problems and also every video I watch is less potential for me to spend money in a casino lol

"I have to win 1000 per day" "I cant lose 1100 today" "So I go all in" These are the words of a gambler, not a poker player. You might not need recovery if youtube can bank your gambling but definitely need to manage your money as if you were a gambler, not a poker pro.
You can see the addiction in his eyes! While production of his videos is great but you can see Frankie doesn’t have what it takes to become a pro poker player (at least not with the way he plays right now). If he doesn’t watch himself he may end up down a very deep, dark rabbit hole that doesn’t usually end well.
friendly advice, im a micro stakes "crusher" (up around 2k$ according to sharkscope mostly 1$-5$ tournuments) whenever i try to move out of micros i do not feel good and my game gets worse, in this game its all about playing without pressure and i sure feel that you are under a lot of it because of family and proving something to someone on the internet, so try moving down in stakes and regroup mentaly bro this is not good for you, and bro its poker try to chill i know its hard but foxen is a pro cuz he knows how to leave emotion out of it.
I've been playing the same way, just free spin and go's. I'm not very good at all (haven't played since when Rounders came out). It helps a lot at the low stakes that everyone is looser and not pressured about losing a big prize.
You don't have the bankroll, mindset, or patience to play the big tourneys right now. Tourneys in general are hard to be profitable on. You should rethink how you get to your goal.
keep it up buddy, the bad streak gonna end and you gonna sky rocket, you have a good poker and we know that, but it can be better, lets study and lets play and most importantly, try no to lose your confidance!! you are good player and we both now that! dont give up
One of your most gorgeously shot and edited videos yet. One day, I hope I and the rest of your followers will get to watch your work in a theater. All poker players go on down swings. When that happens, do exactly what you did. Go smack the shit our of a mannequin at the gym, but even more importantly LOWER YOUR STAKES. Win back your losses at the lower stakes, and work back up to your prior level. You will have earned that seat at the more expensive table, and hopefully learned a lesson in humility and tempering your gamble. A good player doesn't settle for a flip unless totally necessary. A pro will nearly always get money is as a huge favorite.
Dude I actually needed this video so bad. Recently have began my poker journey. I am a 19 year old in college playing poker on the side: I started my journey with $50 and have had some pretty high swings but I’m on a horrible downturn. Just shows that just have to keep going and learning more. Great vid!
Before setting out a monetary goal like 100K, or even before calling yourself a professional poker player or gambler, make darn sure you have a consistent winning record. As a ball park figure, track your cash sessions over a long, good sample size. And if your win rate overall is 70+% then you may qualify. Otherwise get back to reality. Find a real job to take care of your family and perhaps just play poker on the weekend as a hobby.
The video vlogs and editing is “5 stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️… thx for keeping it real and showing us how poker can be frustrating and it’s a huge roller coaster ride.. hang in there and just breathe and you got this!!!
Hello, brother, I've been playing poker for 12 years too, I often get depressed but when I'm well and in Goodrun it makes up for everything, it's a glorious profession, too bad it leaves stains on our soul, but I'll tell you, I didn't reach the end but I know that the trajectory paid off. Together we are stronger.
Gambling and poker can be an intense and risky journey, capable of building you up or breaking you down in no time. Honestly, you already have an engineering job, and judging by this video, your editing and storytelling skills are outstanding. You have incredible talent-consider using it for something more rewarding than gambling. While I understand that some people have managed to create successful lives through poker, the majority end up financially ruined, with the fallout often devastating families and lives.
"whatever happens for the next 65 days will be up to the cards" that is ludicrous. Have yo stopped to ask yourself maybe you are not as good as you think? maybe you need to take time off to study more bro.
I quit playing poker for the most part because it's just such a grind. Its disappointing to spend all day working and leave with nothing but a loss. Tournaments used to be fun but now they are insanely expensive, tedious and filled with other grinders who are in bad moods most of the time. Went from a hard way to make an easy living to an impossible way to make anything worthwhile.
Frankie I can say how much seeing someone go through the same thing I'm going through means. I've had my fair shares of ups and downs and right now I've been getting beat badly mostly from getting sucked out on. So tilting and frustrating when you put it in good. I too have a young child and not coming home with money and having to explain that to your significant other feels sickening. Keep your head up my man, you're a great poker player and there are better days ahead. Love your content btw.
You did something pretty stupid for your psychology. The goal of 100k isn't bad, but tracking it so close is. You were up 15k, but down a few thousand from maintaining 1000 a day. So you play from a feeling of inferiority, feeling like you need to "catch up". Understand you will have days that dont make any money or lose and other days that will make up for it. Your feelings and approach should never change. You just sort of set yourself up to feel bad,

What are you doing to minimize losses besides doing 6 rebuys? You need to take a step back and figure this out. You got a kid to think about now.

Change your mentality man. The mentality of "everything doesn't go for me" makes you a worse player. You need to have a mentality of fixing your mistakes, not just showing random flips or situations that you were right - you need to take a look at the marginal spots - the tough ones - the spots that you can be wrong. Poker is a game of skill with luck involved, and if you think it is simply winning some flips, you should definitely stop playing, because you have no control on it
This kid goes from a losing 1-2 player to 25-50 overnight. Wearing nothing but designer clothes and acting like he earned any of this. What am I missing here?
Bro I watched the video it’s like a documentary about cancer like it’s not that deep either don’t play poker play blackjack or something or just don’t gamble at all.
Gambling is not just a game-it’s a cruel master. It strips you of control, leaving you exposed, vulnerable, and utterly powerless. In those moments of All Ins and falling cards, the world narrows to a single truth: you are at the mercy of chance, and it doesn't care if you live or die. It’s this very helplessness that twists the knife so deeply. Every loss feels like a descent into the abyss, each second stretching into eternity as the weight of failure crushes your chest. But then, against all odds, there’s a win-a spark of salvation in the dark. It’s not just money; it’s the feeling of clawing your way back from the brink, of outrunning death itself. It is this very moment where addiction kicks in. The euphoria doesn’t come from the prize-it comes from survival. For a fleeting moment, you’ve escaped the void, cheated fate, and reclaimed power over a force that wanted to break you. A force you seem to control for once. And then, just as suddenly, the cycle begins again, the high fading, the grip of helplessness tightening once more. This is the trap of gambling-not the risk of losing money, but the brutal, heart-stopping dance with despair and deliverance.
Hey Franky 👋🏻 I am a full time pro from Austria, and when I see you the next time, I will show you some respect, shake your hand and wish you best of luck. I know the feeling when running bad, but youre doing well! Keep going 💪🏻
Frankie you have created a career for yourself in the content world. Most people hate their jobs make a lousy salary and have to deal with bs everyday. Ignore people who disrespect you online bc deep down they wish they had your lifestyle. Some guy in the service sector is trying to criticize you when he has crappy car and hates his job. You have literally created an awesome lifesstyle for yourself. You did that and noone else did.
That's rough. When things feel like they're always going against you, it's hard to get out of that mode. Just shut it down and get some mental perspective on life.

Bro I watched the video it’s like a documentary about cancer like it’s not that deep either don’t play poker play blackjack or something or just don’t gamble at all.
Rooting for you Frankie! Keep up the grind, it will swing in the right direction at some point!
I’ve lost all my profits playing tournaments, that’s standard. That should be such an alarming statement.
Hang in there in these tough times, think about right decisions and chances, all the best
Overly dramatic for such little relative loss for a gambler
I’m not normally moved by videos but I found some new motivation to get better just by watching this thank you
15:19 yeah bros just addicted
Bro wears full designer, drives Porsche, literally spawns money to fuel his addiction LMAO there's no way he pretends to be 'sad' xD
When the video starts with "as a professional gambler" you know what's to come
Dude your boxing is cracking me up 😂😂😂 You have never been in a fight in your life 😂
Real fights are nothing like a boxing match really. Real fights are animal.
That's rough.
When things feel like they're always going against you, it's hard to get out of that mode. Just shut it down and get some mental perspective on life.
dude goes all in every other hand (in awful spots) and then on top of the bad poker play… saw the boxing footage and thought “this isn’t cringe at all, lemme throw this in there” WILD !!
All in with 10-9 is the reason I’m chilling out with poker rn , shit is fuckin crazy
you have inspired me.. i considered quitting before my cards were maxed but now i realize i to can be a professional with just a few more tries.
As long as you get back up, you remain undefeated
jesus christ man that was painful to watch, dont think I've seen someone get it in good and lose that many times in a row. Keep grinding though, variance gotta start swinging your way soon
Are you for real? Do you play online? You can run this bad for literally years. I don't think this guy Frankie is prepared at all for how brutal a downswing can actually be.
Some food for thought, don't show video of you boxing anymore. It's uhh, kind of laughable haha. Additionally, go back to that engineering job bruh, nothing wrong with making $100K a year and actually contributing to society.
The boxing part was unnecessary information tbh. I know for a fact your life is miserable just by reading your comment.
Stay strong Frankie. You are a great storyteller. Please keep it up.
You could always sell your fancy car.
Damn Frankie I was just in Vegas too. Happy holidays
@frankie C I would like to thank you. You have shown an aspect of poker most don’t show and even more won’t talk about. I have a challenge for myself starting in 9 days. Every other challenge I have put myself in I have not finished. This one I am as I k ow it is ok not to get there as long as you don’t quit. And you know I’m not that!!
