We use to make these in the 60’s at camp 😅 never thought of putting a bolt in the middle! Good one 👍🏽

You can leave the excess cord and use it as a flail/mace

I used a copper pipe. Might take it apart to pour lead in it.

Maybe slow down and lose the jumps in time that are obvious at 0.25 speed when you are in the middle of a knot and it suddenly jumps to the completed knot, like the second knot before you put it on the screw, for example.
Pretend I'm a total moron ;) and maybe even a little clinically slow, and do one step, then the next step, and so on, instead of one two three four steps, finished, one two three four steps, finished....
watch some knitting instructional videos (what? I'm married and I learned with my wife) for inspiration. They have good and bad ones obviously, but you'll be able to tell which are which, and my problem with paracord videos is that there are so few of them with paracord tied down the length of a shaft (forgive me for that wording). I've found two, maybe three videos, and they are each using a slightly different style of knot, at least to my inept eye.
Or, another thing you could do is ignore me as a troll, which I am not attempting to be, and go on with your life. I'm pretty sure nobody on either end will lose sleep over either choice.
But if you hear about some guy going crazy in Southern Colorado, a la Michael Douglas Falling Down, wrapped up and stuck in a mass of Paracord, you'll know it was I.
I'm like a panicking cave diver with this stuff and before I can say, "what's next?" I'll be tangled up in cord and really would be drowning if I were actually under water. Think about that. People could drown!
