- Here's another "Movie for your MIND," and this time it's a classic SciFi story! This production is Lux Radio Theater's 1954 version. Starring is Gort who (playing the same role as in the film) and Michael Rennie is back as Klatuu, plus there's also a bunch of familiar radio voice actors - Including Paul Frees, William Conrad, Harry Bartell . . . to name only a few, then Art Linkletter's voice is heard when he shows up to do a commercial! The audio has been digitally restored, and it sounds better than new!

well, doesn´t that resemble jesus, in his life and in some of the central things he said.
i am not religious and i think it was maybe problematic to encase essential thoughts like that in sth rule-meddled and partly obscure as a religion.

Wow, just re-read my comment from what seems like yesterday but is a year ago!!! This production is truly brilliantly and i love it when the Professor meets Klato after he finds his equation on the blackboard ooops chalkboard- (isn't that bloody ridiculous!!!)-and that's not even the worst of it!!

I recently saw the remake of the movie. It proved once again that great movies can be made only once, plus computer images don't automatically make ANY movie a good movie.
Suspense & ESCAPE! Yeah have to agree, Neo!!! Did nothing that could usurp the atmosphere of the original movie. M Rennie played a far better Clatu than Neo could have played ever.
