- Lee case collator modification that seems to orient cases 99.5% of the time. YOU the user still have to watch your cases feed into the indexing plate. I'm sure a case could get upside down but man is this good. Full disclosure: I am not claiming to have invented this. I searched it out and made the modification for myself and wanted to demonstrate it independently.
Thankyou for showing that info and explains how to ps I reload in my living room also.
Thanks for this video. How has it been working for you? Also, if you do get an upside down case, is there an easy way to remove or correct it?
It works pretty well. about 99%. Theres an occasional upside down but I watch as I load. Try keeping the inserts flush with the top rather than recessed: I will try that and see if it is better.
I just did the "pex" thing. Don't drop a ton in there. Do a handful at a time and place them near the edge, while shaking. I never get an upside down case.
Drop a carriage bolt with an appropriate sized head into the center hole. That will slightly overlap and reduce the diameter of all four case feeder holes.
No more upside down cases.
I've done that as well, actually with a thin washer that overlapped the holes and that works too.
i can see at least 3 upside down ...
I don't think so. It is hard to see, the clarity and shine, but I counted these and there were none upside down. I admit I get some once in a while, but it is much better.. not perfect.
