This is from the Engines of War Rulebook: PLAYING WITH CASTLE PANIC AND THE WIZARD’S TOWER (this is assuming you're playing Engines of War xpac along with these two): 1. Remove these Monster tokens from the game. They will not be used with this expansion: From Castle Panic: 1 Red Monsters Move, 1 Green Monsters Move, 1 Blue Monsters Move, 3 Giant Boulders, 6 Goblins, 5 Orcs, 5 Trolls From The Wizard’s Tower: 1 Climbing Troll, 1 Goblin Cavalry, 1 Ogre, 1 Phoenix 2. Remove Arcane Assembly, Azriel’s Fist, Eye of the Oracle, and Thalgar’s Blessing from the Wizard Deck and return them to the box. They will not be used with this expansion. 3. Add all the Monster tokens from the Engines of War expansion to the Monster draw pile. 4. Draw 6 Monster tokens at random (returning any that are effects, Boss Monsters, Siege Engines, or Encampments and redrawing) and set them faceup, 1 in each space of the Archer ring. If a Monster from this expansion is drawn, see pp. 12-16 for detailed rules. 5. Draw 3 Harbinger tokens for the Mega Boss Monsters and add them to the Monster draw pile. 6. Deal a starting hand to each player: For 1-2 players: 6 cards in starting hand, 1 Resource card in starting hand, 7 cards max hand size, 1* # cards players can trade (* In a 1 player game, you may Discard and Draw 2 cards) For 3-4 players: 5 cards in starting hand, 1 Resource card in starting hand, 6 cards max hand size, 1 # cards players can trade For 5-6 players: 4 cards in starting hand, 1 Resource card in starting hand, 5 cards max hand size, 1 (2 for 6 players) # cards players can trade
Playing Wizard's Engine Titan Castle Panic would be awesome and crazy with lots of rules checking, Three decks, a keep and a cavalry would make an awesome game. Dark Tower of War, Wizards Dark Engine, Titan Tower of War
"the catapult and ballista may be fired one time each on a player's turn".. does it means I can use both catapult and ballista on single turn by discarding 4 cards ? or do i only can use one of the engines each turn ?
One question: What's the deal with using Wizard's Tower and this expansion at the same time? Recommended/Not recommended? Thanks for the great review Zee!
What about chaman and breath Tacker there new boss breath tacker sop the possibility to trade and chaman heal 1 hp every enemy in the same color of her
I wouldn't be surprised if a Castle Panic Legacy game is in the works with all the design space that has been opened up in the Castle Panic line.
