I literally woke up this morning thinking to myself “I want to listen to opera music today!” A thought I have never had before. But listening to this, it feels like the final puzzle piece of my life has fallen into place, it really puts a smile on my face :)

P.S. I've heard "Va Pensiero" many times, often performed very well, but this rendition is one of the most moving I have ever truly felt - every word of those poor slaves expressing their heartache and homesickness! The last note, held extra long, makes it just perfect. Many thanks again!

Отдельная благодарность за множество отрывков в исполнении хора. Именно хор почему-то не так часто цитируют, отдавая предпочтение сольным номерам либо дуэтам. 2. Моцарт не является персоналией итальянской оперы (хотя здесь он звучит по-итальянски), поэтому название оперной сборки не совсем корректно. Я очень удивилась, услышав Керубино, а затем Дон Жуана с Церлиной. Не могу сказать, что это меня сильно напрягает, но тем не менее. 3. Жду будущих шедевральных музыкальных подборок. Успехов вам!
