Should have an option for a quicker engine. I can't understand why in this day in age so many manufacturers won't give consumers (especially in the US market) an option for a more powerful engine.
I think you mean cooled seats. The new Jetta has heated and cooled seats, so I don't understand why this vehicle doesn't have it. They are all on the same architecture.
2 questions here: 1- Does the remote start works from the VW app connect on your phone (like Volvo, Hyundai, Kia, etc) ? 2- Is it true that it takes 3 months to get the R-Line on the Tiguan? Thanks!
The CarNet App has had some new features added to the iOs operating system, and I believe that starting your car is a new feature for Apple phones. I am not sure as to the availability of this feature as I have not tried it. Second the build time that we quote is usually 14 weeks. There are R-Lines circulating right now since it is it's own trim level now.
@@vwguru I would buy one, I love my 2017, I have 52K already and will be in the market soon. I might have to change manufacturer since they replaced the Touareg with the not so great Atlas.
@@SS-bp8yq I wish that we could push for a limited release of the Touareg in the US similar to the Golf R, and we could still sell Touareg. The Atlas is a completely different vehicle.
Anon, Absolutely, I believe that lighting is important, not only for the driver but as well as for the look of the vehicle. It doesn’t make sense to have “Laser”, “LED”, and it not match the headlights. I like to be able to see at night and having LED lighting improves the road, in my opinion, Boss.
@@vwguru i was in Germany for a while and i drove a diesel with a manual the whole time there it was the perfect daily driver hopefully they sell a manual here too
This SUV desperately needs more power. It’s horribly underwhelming in power. And fuel efficiency is horrendous. I do mostly city driving and can barely make it to 300 miles per tank. Comfortable ride. But horribly underpowered.
I was waiting for the chevy blazer and looking at the lexus nx but now idk what to get, this is amazing!! 😭😭
I bought exact 2019 model in white for my wife. Beautiful vehicle.
This car is beautiful.
you can buy one for me too
All it needs is the more powerful GTI engine and I'm sold on it. This is the model I would get, but the gimped engine is why I am holding out.
I couldn’t agree more. I have the SE. I truly feel they underpowered this fantastic suv. I get 300 miles to the tank if I’m lucky.
Just get the APR tune for 60+ more up. Goapr.com
Very nice car 🚗 excellent information on the 🚗 🚘
Thank you for watching!
Wish they would put the higher output GTI engine in it. Gas mileage would be about the same. I’d have bought one if they did. Maybe 2020.
Doubt they would put the GTI engine in the Tiguan. Think about it, it would easily kill the Q5 in sales.

Sure now you get the habanero orange one in after I bought the blue one. Oh well... beautiful color.
Well you can get a second one!
@@vwguru lol
Wish they offered that color for.the gulf R
Very nice looking exterior. Shame they put an under-powered i4 in it... :(
amazing car
Who changes their oil every 10,000 miles?
Its usually every 3 or 5 thousand miles
100% synthetic oil only requires changing at 10k. I do however change mine at 5k religiously.
I used to do 10k but now every 5k because the way I drive
No app start either for pre-heating
But does it have heated seats?
Yes it does

That is gooooood

No. The CarNet App does NOT control the remote start.
Where are the cooled seats?
Not available in Tiguans in the US.
I want the new Touareg, but VW decided the North American market isn't worthy 🤷♂️
I wish that they would just do a limited release like they do for the Golf R in the US instead of kill the car off altogether.
Actually we do have the ATLAS which replaces the Touraeg

Sweeettttttt!
No remote start in UK! So annoying and that spec with decent engine combo is well over £40k here!
Really? NO remote start?
Nope I thinks the the UK law that doesn't allow it
Apparently they cannot do them on push to start
You actually got to go outside to start the car ....WOW...this is a crime against humanity, not acceptable VW executives should be hanged from a tree.
You didn't mention heated seats....
michael bass He also didn’t mention the heated seats!
Shame on VW for having halogen fog lights

I don’t understand why car manufacturers are so stingy with the head unit screen sizes utilize all the space for a big nice screen like Volvo haves
