PART 2! That cushion though....
👊👊👊😎
Yo Peter so glad you're doing this again! DANG the first version you did went VIRAL
Peter McKinnon keep me coming baby
I had no idea that the Old Spice joints weren’t done with hella special effects. The setup is freakin elaborate!!!! 😂😂😂
Absolutely love the content you produce for your audience! Thank you Pete
That skydiving one; they must have had someone with a camera jumping out to film the person with a camera on their head filing the other person.
Its almost like the wanted to document the cool stuff they could do. Maybe they could call it like a behind the scenes? Get it? Cause it would be behind the scenes of a movie? Nah thats dumb.
If you look carefully, there's two BTS camera operators, you can see one being filmed by the other. Just to make sure they got it. Both had to do the crazy backwards jump and not get in the way of the scene.
literally inception
That was from Mission Impossible: Fallout.
Tom Cruise performs a real high altitude jump.
If u look closely the scene was from the movie mission impossible fallout.
THese cameramen are the real MVP's. SO much more credit should be sent their way.
AND awards. Camera folks, stunt workers plus, plus, plus...
_ALL_ deserve credit & awards for hard works done. It's amazing!!
Tell me what do you wanna be when you grow up ?
Me: a car seat...
Lol
The real plot twist is, Peter was all alone in that room.
I need to see behind the scene of this video.
Your reaction to legit Hollywood filmmaking is my reaction to your montages!
Hey ive been uploding Short film and Similar content I would be happy to receive a review!
lol
Wats the difference tho?
Oh my god I need more of those reactions! It makes so much fun to watch how it is made behind the scenes and also watch how you react to it :)
@@thecritic2822 who do you think you are? is that how you get entertainment? sitting on your couch getting fat while insulting other people?
"They're sitting in nothing."
*I literally couldn't stop laughing*
Which movie that was ?
0:32 The Raid 2: Berandal, is an Indonesian action movie written and directed by Gareth Evans.
Kerenn kann
Salman Alfarizi hade pisan!!! 😜
@nirandrado 😂😂😂
I worked in Hollywood for 7 years with my dog on set... Everything is fake but it is truly magic in the end. I'm enjoying your reaction videos.
Chandra Pivo with your dog aww thats cute
@@ahunknown9215 Thanks! He (my dog, loved being on set).
"Hollywood - everything is fake..." Understatement of the year ;)
@@aussie2uGA Right?!? lol
That’s why I love movies and TV so much! It’s literally magic. You can make something out of nothing and it takes so many talented people and innovation.
8:41 "Is that a weapon?"
Nah, seems more like a *Canon*
...get it? Cuz red Weapon and Cannons and Ill see myself out
Lilac 😂😂
This comment is so underrated
wouldve been funnier if it was actually a canon and not a sony
McKannon LUL
Canon..😂 Lol
4:50 did they really have a guy filming the cameraman who was filming while skydiving backwards, while skydiving backwards? Thats a lot of effort to simply show how a film was shot.
Oh yeah they must of wow 😂
There is a guy filming the cameraman who was filming the cameraman who was filming while skydiving backwards; you can see that on the extras of the bluray version
That was a Tom Cruise Mission impossible movie where he does a halo jump without a stunt double. It's super high budget movie.
They did this jump over 100 times, and it's Halo (high altitude, low opening) jump too. And it's really Tom Cruise. I can see why they sent an extra filmer for behind the scenes, nobody would believe that it's real otherwise 😂 amazing shot.
The reason I wouldn’t have thought they weren’t on a real train is because in The Darjeeling Limited they actually used a real train for the whole movie and created moving wall sets within it... Wes is my hero!!
Darjeeling sounds familiar is it a place in india
Loving the editor reacts series! Keep pumping out the fireee!🔥🔥
It’s so interesting to see the work that goes into these shots. Amazing stuff👌🏻
So good. Thank you.
The first shot is the different of over-engineering and under-delivering. Extremely complex to make, yet it just looked like another shaky cam shot... IMHO
The train shot is brilliant. That's pure indie magic right here.
Thanks for making me think EVERYTHING in movies is fake now Peter LOL
Foto Finn It kinda is
Sorry Finn, it is... I worked in Hollywood with my dog on set for 7 years. Everything is fake, but fun to see the magic in the end!
@@ChandraPivo That's so neat what you did! Ha ha yeah unfortunately it is but I love seeing these techniques! :D
Hey ive been uploding Short film and Similar content I would be happy to receive a review!
Can we just take some time to appreciate his bird mating noises 😂😂😂👍
HA!
He LOVES making that sound.... Think this is the 3rd video! LOL
@@ChandraPivo lol!
That is sonic branding. Next time when you hear that tropical bird sound, you'll know its Peter McKinnon's podcast
Hey ive been uploding Short film and Similar content I would be happy to receive a review!
You’ve gotta do more of these, Peter!
This is how many that want
To see more!
👇🏼
*points to Show less* no but for real tho. Give us more. This is truly amazing content!
_However..._ the other 1,000,000 people _don't do_ the comment section 🤣
Please Peter, keep this series going.
Thank you, to you & your team for all their efforts fun & interesting as always 🤗🌼
5:08 having a dude with a camera shooting people is difficult but what about the dude shooting the behind the scenes he jumped off as well
Now literally every time I watch anything I think how it was filmed
😉
When I saw the title I immediately knew that the last video got a crazy amount of views. But this video just perfectly sums up the magic and joy of filmmaking. I guess you have to be some sort of magician to do this afterall😉🃏
Hey ive been uploding Short film and Similar content I would be happy to receive a review!
I thought the same but then I checked and it’s at 4.5m damn so amazing
Hej čau
@@janamejstrikova2980 Hej ahoj
Reminds me why I strive so hard to become a creative filmmaker to do and make stuff like this with or without a budget. Movie magic at its finest!
8:23
Friend: What are you doing?
Him: Just shooting some birds
Just shooting some birds with aCanon
😂😂😂😂😂😂this is 🔥
It works both ways 😂
the filmmaker in the title killed me haha as one man said: ''sit down, be humble"
Watching Peter get excited about these clips makes me so happy
Happy 😉
That skydiving scene deserves more praise. Not only did the cameraman jump off backwards to get the shot but the BTS cameraman did too
This sort of things is what sparked my interest in filmmaking, it's so complex, everything has to be perfectly laid out before and it they did a good job, the results are spectacular. More episodes, please
I'm not sure what's better, the final shots, how they were captured, or Peters reaction! Have to re-watch each one 3 times so I can see each!
😉
Get to work on part 3, this is all i want to see on this channel from now on XD
it just makes me so happy seeing someone being actually totally blown away and without trying to hide his admiration :)
That cushion though! I've seen several shots like that and they always blow my mind. The one I always remember is the one in the city where the camera guy is strapped to a taxi in SKATES! SKATES! So good ugh. Love filmmaking.
Can't hide I was waiting for the Director Peter version giving you a hard time 😂
That would have been great!
Hollywood magic is amazing. I’ve always been fascinated by it as a child
I worked in hollywood on set with my dog. It's fun when you are "on", but there is a ton of very long days and waiting...
Just found this guy and I love his enthusiasm for his feild! Zero interest in film and photography myself but his enthusiasm is inspiring!
Your energy makes me excited about my craft!! I love film magic!!!!
It's incredible how you can keep your videos so consistently entertaining and informative. keep it up!
This is so interesting love seeing behind the scenes on how different verity's of filmmaking is made cant wait for a third part Peter :)
I'm lovin the train because it was so damn simple in reality, but looked so solid on film. That first one reminded me of KnightRider though...dude that drove KnightRider when no one was in the car, was dressed as the seat and he looked through the headrest
Well it's Wes Anderson after all. :)
hes so passionate that, even as someone who knows nothing about photography, i am SO excited lol
Your vlogs are the best and your bloopers are so hilarious.
Great job and thank you for all your tutorials they help a lot.
I love this new series.. I am an Indie Filmmaker and just started my new TH-cam channel... You are definitely one of my favorite channels.. Keep up the great work!
I think you’ve found a great new segment! “Filmmaker reacts.” I love this stuff, and with Pete’s commentary on top getting blown away makes it more impressive.
5:02 I'M SHOOOK!!!!! These action movie DPs are INSAAAANEEEE
I’ve always thought that action movies deserve more credit, because they are hard af to choreograph, but they rarely win any of the big awards, like the Oscars.
@@justanotherhappyhumanist8832 there should be action DOP of the year or something
They even went as far as tracking and compositing a CG seat head rest in that car scene haha, so crazy!
And made a door.
Thanks Peter now I'm late for work cause I couldn't stop watching you react to Hollywood magic lol....can we have more Hollywood magic please!!
love this series!!! Plz keep doing this !
These behind the scenes shots are absolutely amazing. Would never expect this when watching a movie.
Hey Peter! I just purchased your PRESET PACK and loved it! Hope you and the family are doing great!
Peter Mckinnon a man entering his prime
Jack denmo with two likes lol😂😂😂😂
Love this! Please continue forever with this series
Keep this series going. As a TH-camr/filmmaker I also find this very satisfying and a great learning tool.
Hey Peter, have you heard of tom cruise and mission impossible???
It’s weird that he didn’t even recognize him
Yeah same doubt 🙃
lol
Hey ive been uploding Short film and Similar content I would be happy to receive a review!
If you watch Mission Impossible behind the scenes it makes the movie much more impressive. They shoot almost everything without CGI, just good old stunts and practical effects.
4:50 So there is guy, filming the guy, filming the actor.
Yess! this is my favorite series now.
YES! This is my fav series
The first clip was Indonesian Movie, called The Raid 2 😆
Knp orang kayak gini gk punah2 sih
Hadeuhh mulai lagi nih warga berflower
First one was better... Those movies surprised me beyond words. The fighting scenes are the sickest I've ever seen in my life. When someone says action packed, I think of The Raid.
apa salahnya membanggakan karya negara sendiri bro ?? ALay lo
Coz u guys just overproud.
OMG, now that grandpa knows how to just kill it in photography.
pleeeaaassseee do more of these!!! i love them
I love this series too, please keep it a thing!!!!
Peter gets so excited watching people film other people filming😂😂😂
I find the fake over reaction a bit annoying tbh
you missed the part in the skydiving scene where that actually is tom cruise doing the skydiving
hell yeah man... thats such an underrated scene!
You seem to be so genuine, im loving your videos
Peter we need pt 3!!! Love these videos!
Not sure if I love the behind the scenes, or Peters reaction more🤔😁
2:36 you could say " you thought it was OLD SPLICED together"
I love how much he loves this, it makes very happy
Well deserved. I am not in photographic or video, I just enjoy watching your creativity in your videos. Congrats.
Your reaction to Tom Cruise doing a HALO jump is quite tame.
SquaredSpekz - Connor Ellis Im almost 100% he had no idea what the movie was or who he was.
Your reaction is LEGIT!! :D hahaha even me I'm so surprised in behind the scenes of other films.
I LOVE these! Keep 'em coming! Very educational and crazy!
I love this series! Can't wait for the next video!
8:30 This is the reason why some of the Indian Malls do not allow proffesional cameras. 😂
4:43 and so there's a third guy with a camera filming the actor and the camera man and jumping out with them as well.
Absolutely loving these reaction videos. Keep 'em coming.
the line "i feel cheated" is perfect . i love stuff like this
Please continue to keep the after shoot footage in every video! Dope!!!
I love your face of wonderment when the shot is something you didn’t except!!!
Great video
These are incredible examples of planning and teamwork.
*PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE keep this series going!*
Be honest bro, at 2:28 you're just speaking to the wall hahaha
I think its focus man 😀
Dude at the end is using similar setup to an old Russian Lens called Photosniper TAIR.
ohh man hope you do loads more of these!! this makes my day!
Love these videos!!! Keep making them!!! Oner in buffy s03e01 right at the beginning is such a subtle oner
have you tough about the skydive explanation camera clip is a second guy filming the first guy filming the actor...mind blow
Hard hitting question: do you prefer photo or video?
Photo
Your energy makes this video more interesting to watch
Love this series as well. Please do more ^^
Dang Peter....what happened to your followers number, it’s growing faster than your hair 😂 but with good effort comes great success 👍🏻
I would love to react to a "How Peter McKinnon Makes Coffee" tutorial someday soon.
You promised, Pete. YOU PROMISED. LOL
haha he just uploaded that :)
@@prodbynaaz Yeah haha I posted this the day before that upload. It was good as always!
I love this series!!!! Your reactions and noises make it
DO MORE!!! loving these kinds of videos :D :D
8:21 so that's the origin of the word " shoot " 😎(genius)
Honestly how I feel watching your videos 😅
Nice reference - broccoli rubber bands!
Please make another video on this! MY MIND IS BLOWN AWAY!
Peter - PLEASE introduce us to who you are talking to!
Paula Simson maybe Matty?
Just watch his video before this and you'll know who he's talking to. Again it's still "movie magic". :-)
it's awesome how peter didn't notice tom cruise at all
I love The Grand Budapest Hotel along with a lot of other Wes Andersen movies because every shot is framed in an intriguing way that conveys an emotion
That was supercool and owesome. Laughed the whole time. Amazing!!!!
