T65A Bigg's Orcas in Hood Canal; Humpback 'Iota'; M5 Sailboat; Traveling Under Hood Canal Bridge

pugetsoundexpress.com - The T65A family of Biggs/transient orcas was in residence in Hood Canal on June 7, 2023. Although we couldn’t see exactly what they had for a meal, they definitely were feeding on something during our visit. We then headed towards Whidbey to visit with Humpback whale “Iota” - the yearling of BCX1416 “Phi.” As if that weren’t enough we also glimpsed M5 - the largest single-masted sailboat in the world! At the end of this video is a quick glimpse of what it is like to travel under the Hood Canal Bridge 🙂
