Have been using mine for awhile now. Definitely a life saver! A little note.. Do not use this with batteries in it and plugged in. Thats where the fire part comes from in the name lol

This is ok for the lume on watches?
I take my gwg-1000 of and the lume glows as bright as the sun. I don't want to damage or prematurely burn out the lume.

Just picked up my first Gshock (GMWB5000MB-1)
Question: granted I’ve only had it for 3 days, but the app has shown a consistent battery level (call it 40%) regardless of the 2-3 hour direct sun it’s had the last two days.
Would you recommend trying that cool fire solar charger to ensure everything’s working properly ? If not, what would you do ?

Any thoughts on using a smartphone's flashlight to charge a solar watch? The light on my phone seems pretty bright and doesn't get hot. Couldn't I just turn the phone's flashlight on, center the face of my G-shock on it and set it directly covering the light? I wonder how effective that would be.
