VFR750's... one of the finest motorcycles ever made. Started with a 1990, gold rims, new from the dealer floor... amazing. Years later got a 1991, white rims, rode for a few years and then stored for 12 years. Just out of the shop where she was go through top to bottom... Clean/rebuilt/jetted carbs, valve adjustment, radiator clean/fluid, oil/filter, rebuilt front forks, braided clutch and brake lines/fluid, rebuild water pump, new h2o hoses, plugs, tune, new tires, new battery... runs like a Swiss watch, has a left side Kerker high mount exhaust and it sounds like no other bike ever made. The gear drive cam's are nothing short of spectacular and sound?, well you all know. What's not to love! People are blown away when I tell them the year of the bike... they don't believe it. People are drawn to the bike when I'm out and about. I live in the Sierra Mts., near Lake Tahoe... some of the best bike roads on the planet. I have my VFR geared low and carbs jetted for lower end. The bottom end pull is massive.
I’ve got the same bike and we are fiddling with it with my father. It needs carb work but we not dare… yours now works perfectly. Well done and please keep them coming!
