Finally, never assume you can instantly deny people if the reason stamp falls down.

I just love this series! I don't care that you may be bad at it (relatively) or make accidental mistakes (because you refuse to cheat ahead), this, though it seems boring by the premise, is definitely one of my favorite of your series! The diplomatic authority can be seen on the bottom of the document they hand you (it'll say which countries they're cleared for access). You scan that with the section in the rule book which says "Diplomats must have correct authority" (or something like that). I'm loving this series and playing along :)

Jack, when you're dealing with a diplomat at the bottom of the document it lists different countries the diplomats are allowed to visit, so basically you want to see if Arstotzka is listed at the bottom. If it isn't then that is the discrepancy.

Earlier in the game after his second visit he asked you to let in a "friend", which was the diplomat. If you detain her then the game would have ended because Dimitri would have had you arrested.

I think you were supposed to shoot the guy in red while he was waiting in line. That may be why it said you'd get in trouble if you succeeded. I don't imagine people would look too kindly on an inspector shooting people at random.
